This is amazing! My 9 months old has so much energy to burn and this dose the trick. It's rated up to 40# so he can use for a while. Getting him in is a bit of challenging because he is so excited. But you have to lay him down strap him in then hange him up. But overall I wish I bought this first instead of baby instine jumper .     • Great for jumping and getting baby to squeal and laugh!
I used a door jumper with my first baby many years ago and while he seemed to enjoy it, he just couldn't get the hang of going up and down; he would plow side to side! Still, I decided to give the door jumper concept another shot with my grandbaby (his baby girl!) and am happy to report that she is not "directionally challenged." She is an energetic (aka squirmy) baby and even holding her on my lap to give her a bottle can feel like wrestling an octopus, so I had to wait for backup to get her strapped in for her big adventure. In came Grandpa to assist... it took a while to get those chubby legs of hers in the seat attachment and honestly, we both had to take a break to get our laughter under control. She was YELLING at us, as she often does when she senses we have no idea what the heck we're doing! It's been a million years since we had our kids and everything is built for maximum safety (YAY!) with lots of straps and things to secure. But we persevered and she discovered that the new contraption was actually FUN! The door jumper is a well made and substantial piece of play equipment. The part that goes above the door frame requires you to pull the hinge open and place it above the frame. We have 2 door frames downstairs suitable for the jumper and both are in the kitchen; one opens to the dining room and the other to the living room. The dining location is the primo placement in our house because she can watch while we're cooking as everyone hangs out, and then again while we're at the dining room table by rotating her view. The jumper has adjustable straps to control the height level, and the seat has straps to adjust for height, as well as Velcro straps and a belt to ensure the baby is snugly secured. After the initial strapping her in, it's gotten easier as we now have the moves down! Gotta tag team her and be FAST! The seat really is easy to use for experienced parents. Her daddy manages to get her in and out and mocks us for having to tag team her. This item is great for us to have as a safe baby playtime diversion while we're cooking and is easy to store when not in use. The canvas material seat easily comes off the stabilizing bar and can be washed. I love when you don't have to wrestle with a cover to remove it for washing. Wrestling a very energetic baby is enough for me! ... show more

    • Great fun for the grandchildren
We used to have a similar product when my oldest was a baby. It was called the "Johnny Jump Up" and he absolutely loved it. IIt was my wife's best babysitter when the baby was fussy. So we were excited to get this product for our grandchildren, who are the perfect age for using this. So far, two of them have tried it and they really enjoyed sitting in it. They jumped a little, but I think it is going to take more time for them to get used to it. Assembly is super easy - a far cry from the old Johnny Jump Ups. This one fits together easily and attaches to the doorframe with a large spring loaded clamp that will not damage the door frame. Everything is safe for the baby. All of the metal parts are covered. The swing seat keeps the baby safe and secure. There are several adjustments for the seat, the straps and the main spring height. Once your baby gets the hang of bouncing in it, it will help strengthen their legs and keep them occupied. ... show more

Our daughter is 5 months old and weights around 16 pounds. She absolutely loved this thing so much she was upset when we took her out. Setup was pretty easy and quality feels pretty good. I was nervous putting this up, but so far it seems very durable and sturdy. Price wise seemed a tad high but also fair given the higher quality parts you want to be installed to handle her. ... show more

This is a good jumper. It is easily assembled with only a few parts and should take less than 10 minutes. It is quick to put onto a doorway and the spring is strong enough to get a good triceps workout when the little one is otherwise occupied. The only real concern I have with it is that if a little one mores forward or back the latch that holds onto the door shifts up and down. In other words, it doesn't stay put unless they remain directly under the door. This may not lead to something bad, but gives me a bit of an uneasy feeling. This doorway jumper is so much fun! Great for when I need to entertain my little one while I fold laundry or pay bills and can keep one eye on him while he bounces. The door clamp is easy to assemble and feels sturdy, but you'll need to use your own discretion when it comes to your doors and what's actually bearing the weight. The fabric and straps of the bouncer itself feel well-constructed, but the stitching looks a little sloppy and uneven in spots. It seems purely cosmetic and I don't think it affects the integrity of the bouncer. The crotch has a thin padding for comfort and my kiddo has a BLAST in it! ... show more
