In order to get the hat to fit my head, I have to shrink the Velcro band to as small as it goes. In doing that, it causes the crossed ribbons to pop out, since they aren’t elastic. It can mostly be hidden by a pony tail but then the extra “tail” from adjusting it pokes out the side. Material is athletic and breathable. It’s just okay. ... show more

I love the distressed gray, it has the fun criss-cross on the sides and back, and is 100% well-made, so it's a cute style, good fabric, excellent workmanship. For those reasons, I'd give FIVE stars. Many reviews said this hat is too small, but I wanted to try it anyway, I don't have a huge head or anything. But my goodness, it's not even comfortable! It feels like it wants to pop off! All my other ball caps touch my ear, but this is way higher. For that, I would give it a ONE star! (Therefore, I gave it a three.) I put in for a return, since it costs 2-3x more than any of my other caps, BUT, I just can't send it back, it's so cute!! Maybe I'll use it as a gift.
