After reading reviews I was excited to try this. I put a tiny money piece in my daughter’s hair. It took forever to dry and when it did you could hardly see it at all. Her hair is a light brown and other spray colors have shown in her hair way better than this one and with way less work and mess.

The color (blue) was extremely vibrant and bright, even on dark hair, but the product never really dried or set in, despite blow drying it and setting it with hairspray. I used it on my toddler’s hair for crazy hair day at school and he came home with it all over his hands and shirt. Washed out very easily though without staining his skin or the tub. ... show more

Used it for my kid, as he wanted blue streaks in his hair. The color is great, even on black hair, and the quantity seems reasonable - at least, compared to other similar products. However, the hair dries very stiff, and it's clear that there is a gel-like product in the hair... so I don't think it would work well for cosplay.
