Pros. Very sturdy stool. I kept at lowest height for someone under 6’. My feet rested fine on the floor. Ideal for someone wanting to switch between stand and half sit. Also very space efficient if your workspace is small. Easily stow under a desk to maximize walking space. Cons. Min height is bit too high. Bc of that, I cannot sit for long without moving around every 20-30 minutes. I have to position the stool further back and tilt it forward to I sit like a tripod with my 2 feet forward. I bought this stool because of the standing desk I use at work. Ever since it came through the doors, all my coworkers sit in the chair when we are chatting!. They love it, and love that it never falls no matter what angle you are leaning in. I understand other reviewers may have hiccups but maintain your product and youll be fine. I really wanted to like this stool after trying it out for a few days. I tried a cheaper version and it didn’t work out. Seat fabric was too slippery and kept sliding off when using in lean position. This stool has a much better design, look and wobble base…HOWEVER the seat cushion is just too hard. I’m recovering from back surgery and it’s just killing my back, butt, and the back of my legs. I just can’t find a lean position that alleviates my pain, even if used for a short amount of time to rest from standing at my desk. My back is sore for the rest of the day. Other posts mention adding a cushion, but after spending $250 on this, I doesn’t make sense to spend more to make it comfortable. The whole idea was to get rid of my chair for a better, healthier solution but am finding it’s just not worth the cost or more importantly the back pain. ... show more

Hesitated for a while due to the item's price. However, I finally pulled the trigger when furnishing my new home office and it's been an absolute delight. You can't see it via pictures, but the stool is actually very well made and feels like it costs $250. Which is good, because it does. The non-slip rubber bottom works great on carpet, the height adjustment mechanism is very springy and responsive, and the seat has just the right amount of cushion to keep you comfortable yet stable. There's an entire world between standing and sitting. Without this stool, I never would've known that my favorite work position is somewhere in the middle. ... show more

I bought this stool because out of all of them it looks the best. Love the minimalistic look. But idk how nobody has mentioned except one person that this still is V uncomfortable. Im 6'3 180 lb - using this for a standing desk to lean on and in 10 minutes of sitting the seat feels like its cutting off circulation into your legs. Great aesthetics but they need to improve where the metal rim sits / change the padding on this to work. ... show more

    • The base and seat material is of great quality. The seat adjustment button is a bit hard to push.
This desk stool is for my 17 year old 6'2" son. He likes the capability of the height adjustment and is using it with a motorized height adjustment computer desk. It's quality has moved me to purchase one for myself.

I love the concept. Initiated the return process and hope to get a new one as it should have been the case in the first place. It is puzzling how someone would ship a "new" product in this condition.
