Wanted to upgrade from an XL twin to a proper queen bed. One thing in particular I was looking for was a mattress that was firm and had good support. As a larger person (around 350 pounds) this bed is perfect for my needs. Firm but not like a brick, a good size. It's recommended to let it sit out for 24+ hours after opening, but I found it was fine after a few hours and slept on it the same night. I've been extremely happy with the mattress so far. Especially taking into account the price - I feel I made a good decision. Of course it remains to be seen how long it lasts me. If it starts losing firmness after a year that would be unfortunate. But as of now I would absolutely say this mattress is great if you're looking for something affordable and something on the firmer side. Edit: Mow having slept on the mattress for a week it is very firm!! I have medical issues with pain and didn’t realize that this bed is as stiff as stated in the product details. I have ordered two different foam mattress toppers. I am waiting for the second one to arrive so I can see if it will help some. Very sturdy well made bed for the cost!! I was shocked at the quality and the ease of setting up. But be prepared for a mattress that jumps half way across the room when opened! Even the instructions say take a deep breath and hold on!!! I bought 12 inch firm. This mattress is way better than I expected. I bought it for temporary use. Surprisingly, its quality is better than several big brand mattresses I have owned. But the price is only 1/5. Some reviews mentioned that the edge support is not good. This is the main concern I had before I placed the order.
