This mattress came as vacuumed sealed and took about 12-16 hours to unfold completely. This is hybrid means it has springs on the bottom but has foam on the top. The firmness is just right what I was looking for. This 12 inch mattress is high enough if you place on box spring so please make sure the height of your bed is calculated before ordering. The only back draw I noticed was the corners of the mattress which tends to lean down when you sit on them. The measurements were correct which I always appreciate. We put it in our camper for a more comfortable mattress. My husband likes a soft mattress, I like a firm one, this was a happy medium for us. I will say I thought the coils would be more coated. Just to be clear it does have springs. If you put your hand on the side of the mattress you can feel the springs. When you lay on it, you can't feel the springs, they don't poke you. It also doesn't feel like the springs/coils are individually wrapped, that's why I knocked it down a star. It does have a bounce to it. It did not come with the chemical smell that memory foam can sometimes have. It's heavy, like 50lbs, and comes rolled up in a box. It does inflate to actual size very quickly, you could sleep on it right after unboxing if you really wanted to. It's a pretty good mattress, for a guest room or something. Soft and comfortable. My son has been having the best sleep. Didn’t have a smell when opening. Also didn’t take long for the mattress to form. Doesn’t sag in the middle. Also this mattress doesn’t slide on bed frame while sleeping. The quality is also great!

Great quality and very soft. I love a mattress that has a pillow top so this was perfect. I’m getting older so I sleep with former beds now but my nephews love a soft bed when they visit so this will make sure they sleep soundly.
