Took me all of about 10 minutes to assemble, and I love the way the boxspring cover fits tightly. Metal is very sturdy. I’m highly pleased with it.

For starters, the package was in very rough shape when I received it, Holes and taped together. I found a dead bug squished inside of the plastic, many of the parts had deep cuts and paint chipped off. The instructions are a nightmare to read, confusing and no words just vague pictures. I received extra screws but only of 2/3. It's to big to fit my queen bed by just enough to be annoying. I made it work but for how much I spent it should have been better. I would return it if the package wasn't so heavy and I didn't already spend 4 hours trying to put it together. Update: I've gotten my money back, the customer service is great and they made the experience much better! ... show more

Getting a boxspring like this is simply so much easier than buying a preassembled bulky unit. Assembly was very quick and easy and once assembled this boxspring is very sturdy. It does come with a cover, which is very convenient. I don’t think I will ever buy a traditional boxspring again because this is so much more convenient and sturdier. I put a hybrid memory foam coil spring mattress on it, and it has worked out beautifully. Recommended for the convenience and sturdiness. ... show more

I put this boxspring together without too much trouble and was surprised with how a small compact package expanded out so elegantly into a large full-size frame. The metal frame felt like a better solution than those old-fashioned wood ones and of much better quality. The only downside was that it didn't fit the bed I intended it for. The sides were like 1/2 inch too small. So my advice is to pay very close attention to the dimensions of your bed, even if you have a full size bed, it might not work for you. I won't be able to use it for the bed I have, but hope it will come in handy one day for the next full matress we get for our youngest child. ... show more

The description said it suppose to be heavy duty and carry up to 3500 pounds it bent on 220 pounds it horrible I had to immediately go out and buy any box spring I am returning this merchandise piece by piece

I ordered this frame for an antique bed frame. I was a bit skeptical about the engineering... There is NO support foot for the center brace, that spances the distance of a queen size mattress. It states that it can support 3,500lbs. I have had it less than two weeks. I weigh 270lbs. The mattress that I got from Amazon, weighs about 50-60lbs. I have had no visitors for "fun" since setting it up. ...and it started collapsing in the middle. First, I noticed the center of the mattress sinking, then strange "metal noises" whenever I turned over in bed. So, I took the mattress off, lifted the "box springs"... and there was the malfunction. So, I contacted Amazon for a replacement, and also, purchased two supporting legs for the center. We will see how this goes. Best Regards, David S. R. Clark ... show more
