One of the most significant investments of the year - But a happy first time mattress buyer!

The media could not be loaded. I would rate this mattress similarly to the average review at 4.5 stars! This is one of the most significant purchases of the year despite its simplicity. The wrong mattress can be a true pain to live with - and this is something that could significantly impact quality
of life. Being the first mattress I have ever purchased new, I knew it wouldn't be easy. At this point, I had developed significant back pains from sleeping in a bad position on an old mattress of questionable worth. I had always been lucky with mattresses but in this case, I was badly in need of a new one. I chose Kescas because it ticked all the right boxes; it was a hybrid type with good side support and back support. It was less expensive than pure foam but performed admirably for the price. I do have two complaints as they make it seem as if the mattress is either produced here in the USA or Mexico, but the box clearly says Made in China. This isn't really an issue but misleading. The other complaint is that the edge is quite soft for sitting. I waited the full 72 hours before using the mattress and the first few nights were the best sleep I had in ages. The mattress is definitely comfortable, and although I wouldn't describe it as perfect, it really helped relieve a lot of the back pain I had suffered as a result of sleeping on an old spring mattress for a year (I do get some slight lower back pains but nothing like I used to). I do feel perhaps it could have better support for stomach sleepers, but being that they need very firm mattresses unsuited for side sleepers I can't knock the mattress for that. The quilted Euro-top is good quality and well-stitched. I did have an expensive king-sized foam mattress before and I would describe the Kesca mattress as being similarly capable in terms of sleep and comfort. I would have preferred a pillow top, but the Euro top is a more durable design. The corners sagging slightly is apparently a limitation of the design and is normal. Pros: Fantastic value Well-made mattress Good quality quilted top Great support for back and side sleepers. Well-supported overall, especially in the middle. Cons: Not exactly lacking in edge support since I can't imagine sleeping that far out to the edge, but is a bit soft for sitting. Bit flimsy when lifting and moving around. I would say overall that the mattress had been a good purchase and there isn't very much to dislike about it, especially given the price. Relieved back pains about as much as the 1000 dollar foam mattress I used to have which is saying something! Finally, I have noticed that the tendency to want to stay in bed all day has increased since buying the mattress which is crazy but true! I would recommend it.

This mattress was easy to open and took about 2 days to fully expand. Follow the directions when opening the plastic wrap and take caution to not cut into the actual fabric. The mattress is pretty firm with a little give, which is what we were looking for. 'not too hard, not to soft'.

The Only Mattress I Will Ever Buy

I was hesitant to buy this mattress and almost opted for a more expensive brand, but I'm so glad I bought this mattress. It is SO comfortable. I sleep on my side and have slept comfortably ever since I bought it ~9 months ago. It comes in a box and you let it expand for 24 hours before sleeping on it

This mattress is very nice.. It is medium firm as advertised... It comes well wrapped in plastic in a box...Just be sure to aim it where you want it. before you completely unwrap it.. It is spring loaded. 😁 .

Happy with the mattress, but it is a little concerting to have such soft sides. But certainly a great value for the money. Perfect for our needs and very nicely packaged.

The sides of the mattress have zero support. They are very squishy, and I almost rolled off the bed the first week. UPDATE: after using it for 2 months now I’ve got to say it’s very comfortable. I still wish the sides were better but 4 out of 5 stars in my opinion.
