We ordered this mattress to replace the one that came with our 2012 Jayco Jay Flight 25BHS. We ordered the regular queen and it fit perfectly with additional room to still slide in between the wall and the bed. The mattress is about the same weight as the old mattress, which was an initial concern for us upgrading our mattress, because we did not want to add too much additional weight. We purchased the Serenia Memory foam as an upgrade for the mattress which came with our new Arctic Fox travel trailer. It was exactly what we wanted. It is very comfortable, firm but not overly firm, and provides a great foundation for a good nights sleep. Many memory foams are very heavy. This mattress is stout, but not so heavy that it requires additional support or modifications, to easily access the under bed storage which is so important in an RV. Its been a month I am using this mattress. I feel comfortable, no smell. unpacked and started using with in 3 hours. But I am sweating on my back, when sleep on mattress. Not sure if all the memory foam will have this issue. Since this is my first memory foam mattress.

    • Save money- start with this!

Our RV mattress was horrible- pain every morning at hips/knees. We tried a smart wool 2" topper that i love, but it didn't really help. Then we tried a 4" memory foam/wool topper - this added too much weight to the platform that made it hard to lift up - and didn't solve the problem. Third try is a charm - this mattress is perfect - no soreness or pressure points. Like others indicate, pull it out of the box and then bring it to the RV before unwrapping. Once you break the seal, the mattress will start to expand. It was fairly easy to free from the plastic and I didn't notice any odor. It's also lighter than the original mattress with the toppers, so the platform raises easily and stays up. I was able to oversleep despite morning light and camp noises and miss a ferry trip, that's how great the mattress is! ... show more

I am giving this a third star due to the fact that my husband says it is one of the best beds he has ever slept in. However, I find it so firm, even with the soft top, that I wake up several times a night with pain in my hips. The bed is really firm. For a person with a bit of meat on their bones it seems to be a comfortable bed. For a person who is of small frame and not with any extra meat on their bones it is like sleeping on the floor.
