  • Nice shoes
Size: 27" (165 - 235 lbs) Color: Black (snowshoes+pole)
Love the shoes. They're light and stay on good. Got to use them a couple times. But, never received poles that are supposed to've come with this set. Tried contacting company with concern of such, no luck.

  • Pretty darn good for the price
Size: 27" (165 - 235 lbs) Color: Red (snowshoes+pole)
Pleasantly surprised by how these worked my first time out, i just got back. Frames are light weight and the binding really wrap around your feet well. Free advice, place your boots in the snow shoes in your living room and adjjst the heel strap so you are not doing it out in the cold and snow. They have decent float for being hiking snowshoes. I have been snowshoeing since i was a kid and we wore the big old beaver tail style while we were late season huntkng in far northern Minnesota. The poles that come with these are junk, as least for a 211 lb man. Might be ok for an 11 year old kid? Mind you these are recreational snow shoes and i use the. To take my dogs out for walks in the woods in the winter. I am not sure i would go trekking too far in these. Oh and tou will sweat, a long walk in these is akin to leg day at the gym. ... show more

  • The straps are the same size despite the length of the snowshoe.
Size: 30" (180 - 250 lbs) Color: Black (snowshoes+pole+gaiter)
A size 10 "Sorel" brand boot barely fits in the binding of a larger size snow shoe and the straps for the smaller size snow shoe are too long for a size 4 "Sorel" boot . I would recommend that the business uses different size straps for the snowshoes. The tails of the straps hang past the snowshoe and barely hold the boot place for the smaller snowshoe and for the larger snowshoe I do not think anything larger than a size 10 Sorel boot would be able to be strapped in place. Also, one of the poles did not stay locked in place while hiking. It was constantly collapsing. ... show more

  • Snowshoe Newbies
Size: 27" (165 - 235 lbs) Color: Blue (snowshoes+pole+gaiter)
We purchased these snowshoes for our trip to Rocky Mountain National Park. I purchased two sets of the 27" Ambio Lightweight combo packs (shoes, poles, gators). The shoes were worked well for us both (135 lb female, 200 lb male) and poles adjusted/stayed without issue once we tightened the adjustment screws. We did 3 trips of 2.5 miles off trail, 3.5 miles trail and 3 miles off/on trail in 6" to 18" snow on gently rising terrain. These snowshoes performed great! No issues with bindings and no visible wear to the shoes. We would both highly recommend these shoes for newbies wanting to get out and enjoy the snow. ... show more

  • Love it
I used these all the time last year and they came in handy! They don't fit back into the bag very well and one of the walking sticks broke about 10 feet from the car but I don't use those anyway. It tales a while to figure out how to buckle them correctly (it's very similar to snowboarding clasps)

  • Easy to use and great stability when hiking on packed snow.
First time snow shoer…easy to use, and stabile in packed snow and some ice. I am missing one of the locks on one of the poles so it is unusable. Don’t know how to contact them.

  • Great for stomping around on flat snow pack, not ideal for serious mountaineering
Size: 25" (120 - 200 lbs) Color: Black (snowshoes+pole+gaiter)
The media could not be loaded. These snowshoes have some nice aspects -- for example, the aluminum frame is very solid, and the ratcheting straps are *almost* very good -- however, for anything besides highly recreational snowshoeing for example near one's home, I would proceed somewhat with caution. The biggest issue for me is, hands down, the ratcheting straps. They look like quality plastic, but they are unreliable They get loose fairly easily as you walk; if snow/ice gets stuck inside the buckle, they become even less reliable. The bag the snowshoes come with is borderline useless, but the trekking poles are high quality. Anyway, I'm pretty thorough in this video. Enjoy. 🙏 ... show more

  • Very Good Given the Price
Size: 21" (70 - 150 lbs) Color: Blue (snowshoes+pole)
Considering you get poles, snow shoes, and a light nylon case for under $80.00 the expectations shouldn't be high. But these snowshoes seem to be a good value for the money. This is our first experience on snow shoes so we don't have any comparison experience. But we could strap these on and hike for miles, with few issues. The straps did loosen a couple of times under stress and maybe could be a bit better, but they work. At first we didn't understand that the latch actually ratchets and will tighten the strap. We just pulled the strap though the latch. After discovering the ratchet function, snugging up was easier. ... show more
