Bought this mattress for my son. He says it's fine. I think it's to hard. It also doesn't have much of a topper. I got it at a very good price. It will definitely need a 3 inch gel/ memory foam topper. In the description it says medium firm. Its definitely not medium firm its a guaranteed Firm mattress. My son is still young.I think it will be ok for 4 years of college especially when i buy the topper.You get what you pay for. ... show more

Well, if you doubt that you will get 12 inch thick 38.5 inch wide twin sized mattress in box, you will lose that bet. This thing came vacuum packed in a large-ish box that took one person to lift but two people to lift easily. Still pretty small and portable for a mattress and could be easily fit into a car. Once you unseal the vacuum seal however, this almost immediately becomes the promised size. No waiting 24 hours for full height and thankfully no weird smells. This is not a memory foam, but a real bonafide spring mattress. The springs just aren't metal and when you lay on it, you cannot feel the individual springs or hear creaking. Very impressed by the easy maneuverability pre-packaged and the size and comfort post-packaging. Outdoes the thin and foldable mattress-in-a-boxess of yesteryear but still retains the convenience! ... show more
