I like the fact she falls to sleep within 30 -45 minutes after going to sleep, no more two or five hours after going to bed. Haven't had to clean the mattress as yet, so I will cross ๐Ÿคž my fingers that cleaning will be easy. I was very lucky when this was dropped off at my front door. My next door neighbor who happens to be a moving guy noticed that I was having some trouble maneuvering this thing and offered to help with his pro style hand truck. It was a total godsend, because this thing is really heavy! He got it into the bedroom and the rest was up to me. I got it onto the bed and used the little letter opener type tool that came in the box to slice through the layers of plastic. As soon as I got the thing unwrapped it spring to life in an instant! I thought this was gonna take a few hours to unfurl itself, but no, right away it looked like a fully formed queen size mattress. Very nice looking. Also no major weird memory foam smell to deal with, although still some noticeable odor. But not bad at all. After letting it air out for a few hours I put a sheet on it and tried resting on it, and I was surprised how firm it is. I've been sleeping on a old mattress with a 2" memory foam topper along with a plush mattress pad. I realized the mattress was way too firm to be used by itself, so I added the foam topper, and then added the thick plush mattress pad on top of that. This was comfortable, of course, as it was basically the same setup I was using before. This made a pretty thick setup and fortunately my fitted sheets have pretty deep pockets so I was able to cover up the mattress, foam topper and pad. On its own this mattress looks like a pretty well made product. I think it's worth at least 4 stars. But it's certainly not comfortable enough by itself for me to sleep on. Thankfully I had the right things to put on top of it, and make it work. ... show more

I do not know what mattress the other reviewers got? What I got was called a โ€œsemi firm mattressโ€ that has a very thin layer on top of the springs. The springs keep poking through & hurting me. Every night!! Needles to say Very uncomfortable mattres! I only got it because I needed something downstairs to avoid going upstairs due to surgery. I thought that maybe the people I hired to set it up made a mistake & had the mattress upside down but that is not the case. I would return it in an instant & get a quality mattress from a reputable store like I have in all the bedrooms. In addition UPS was supposed to call & let me know when they would deliver because supposedly I needed to sign for the delivery. They never called or knocked at the door. I was home checking every few minutes & also left a note on the door asking them not to leave it outside as I was undergoing surgery in a few days & I could not get the heavy items inside. Of course they did not. They left the huge heavy packages outside without ever knocking @ my door. I called UPS who assured me they would send somebody to get it inside that afternoon. Nobody ever called or came to my door. I had to hire a couple of handymen to get it inside in the middle of the night w/ the extra expenses associated w/it. ... show more

I'd had an unpleasant experience shopping at some mattress stores, and put off buying a new one for much too long. After much research I settled on the Hohamn queen size mattress, 12 inch. I like that it's a combination of innerspring and foam. It's both firm and soft at the same time. I've been sleeping on it for almost 90 days, and can't remember when I've had a better night's sleep. This mattress felt rock hard at first so I was a bit skeptical to sleep on it the first night. When I finally did lay down, I was definitely pleased with the comfort level.
