We have had a 4" memory foam topper on our mattress for years. I never liked it because you would sink into the foam and when you wanted to turn you couldn't without lifting yourself out of the depression you had shaped in your sleep. When I saw this Twolike Queen Mattress I ordered it. Here are my thoughts on this mattress: PROS: 1) It certainly is a more firm mattress. I do not sink into it like the old memory foam. It provides excellent support. I do notice that my shoulders and hips ache a little more due to the firmness, but I think for my sleeping it is providing a good balance between support and being to soft. 2) The cover is soft. You can see the texture of the cover fabric in pic 2. CONS: 1) I can't think of many cons with this product. About the only thing is that it ships vacuumed up. This means it takes six to twelve hours for the mattress to shape back up. I know you have to do that to ship it, but it is hard to store a queen mattress while you wait for it to take back it's shape. CONCLUSSION: If you like a firmer mattress this is a pretty good one. It is good quality and is a big improvement over our old memory foam mattress. Just be prepared, if it arrives in the evening you probably will not be sleeping on it that night as it takes some time to gain back its shape. RATING SYSTEM: I review a lot of products because I know reading other peoples reviews are very helpful in selecting the right product. I saw a reviewer that gave a rating scale and I thought, "that is useful". When one is reviewing from underwear to air compressors having a way to tell you why I rate is important. Here is my rating scale: 5 Stars: Excellent product, I highly recommend this product for anyone. 4 Stars: Good product, but there are some quality, functionality, or design issues, but will still work well. 3 Stars: Okay product, it will work for some people but not all people. It works but not great. 2 Stars: Is not very functional. It might work in a very specialized situation, but don't count on it. 1 Star: Trash. I can't see any useful purpose for the product. ... show more
