I've tried various traditional dive masks but my facial hair and deep laugh lines made it difficult to get a good seal. I use this for lap swimming, and because of this, I personally only use for about 15-20 min then it just too tight on my head to do longer than that with the more intense workout versus just casually floating and snorkeling. Don't forget to use sunscreen or you will have a very burnt red face. Yes I do like it pretty tight to keep the water out of my eye area. It is a great product. Inflow of air too restrictive for exercise swimming. other wise, fuller viewing field, fitting on the face, lack of leakage, minimal fogging and durability seem good. I bought this product for a trip to St John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. I will start by saying that it was easy to pack for my trip. The small carry bag was a plus. I am a novice snorkeler a best. I have a full beard and it seals perfect, breathing is so much easier compared to a traditional snorkel set, and no water comes in when I dive underwater. GoPro mount is a plus, I'm taking some awesome videos... Highly recommend!!!
