I really like the full-face masks and this one is better than most. When you go under and the air "pipe" closes, you may have to blow out to get it to unlock. Also, I often get air coming up into my eyes and going up and out rather than through the side vents.

When you wake up one morning and think..I shall go snorkeling today! (well, not really) What I do like is the full face feature because when I snorkeled in the Caribbean in the past, it was wonderful and beautiful with all the schools of fish...but the face mask obscured my view as well as crushing my face the deeper I got. This full face model I think provides a much more immersive visual experience and I look forward to trying it it soon....other than experimenting with it at the local swimming pool. ... show more

I was skeptical at first, but after using it in the pool, instantly fell in love. It is not for any kind of diving, in fact there are stickers on the mask itself indicating to not dive. Does that mean you can't do it at all? Well, I did a little bit and it seemed fine. There is a mechanism in the snorkel itself that keeps water from flooding into the mask. I can see it being a little uncomfortable as pressure increases so I would keep it to just a few feet. The best part of the mask is how they engineered the air flow. As you breathe in, the air is drawn from snorkel and across the face. What that means is you never have any fogging issues. As soon as it starts to fog up you just take a breath and all that is instantly evaporated. Keeps the lens crystal clear! Love it and can't wait to use it again. ... show more

Had high hopes for these, as they had very mixed reviews, but most said they were great. Unfortunately, we got a malfunctioning pair. The water comes in and fills the mask and the valves do not close as stated. We took these on vacation with us and my kids were scared to death to use them after continuously filling with water. Will be returning Family members had bought similar masks from Amazon and they worked great. Maybe we just got a bad batch ? ... show more
