The new colors are: Flamingo Pink, Ice Blue, Lime Green, Cobalt Blue and Smokey White. The new, Instax Mini 9 features a selfie mirror for the perfect selfie photo every time. Close up macro photos are now easier thanks to the included close-up lens adapter which allows you to focus on subjects as close as 35-50cm. The Instax Mini 9 retains all of the other great features found in the Mini 8 including: Automatic exposure measurement. The camera signals the recommended aperture setting with a flashing LED light and the user can manually adjust the dial to the recommended setting. This helps the user capture the perfect photo every time. The High-Key mode enables consumers to take brighter pictures with a soft look -perfect for portraits.

Camera arrived protected and quickly. I also liked that it came with batteries, I hadn’t seen that when I purchased it. But overall, the camera is great, already tested out and it functioned well. Edit: Also, ps. A general problem I’ve been facing related to the film getting stuck and battery. I noticed that in my old camera the film was getting stuck and I found out that it’s cause i left the batteries in, something that has also happened with this camera so watch out for that. When the film does get stuck, simply switch out the batteries and open the film box, then pull the film box with a bit of force. I say this as I messed up my previous camera not knowing what was causing the problem mentioned. As for this product, still works great 8 months later! ... show more

My teenager really loves using this camera, and the price point is just right ~$50. So I'm not worried that she'll be potentially breaking some expensive equipment. If you are buying this camera for your child, I have just one piece of advice: BUY THE INSURANCE!!! (You won't regret it.) You may even want to buy the insurance if you are an adult and are prone to dropping other types of electronic equipment like your phone, just so you'll be protected. This is actually my child's 2nd Fuji Instax Mini camera. I purchased the insurance on the first one, and sure enough it came in handy. After just about a year, both my children had dropped this camera, and the 2nd dropped just did it in. After filling out the insurance claim with Asurion, the gift card to buy a replacement camera came in only 1 DAYS TIME!!! That is just awesome! The film is a little expensive for this camera, but buy a large back (like 60 sheets) to save money. You can also get that size in an Amazon Subscribe & Save box to get it a little cheaper! My teenager really loves taking these pictures and getting the instant gratification of seeing and holding the photo right away! Awesome for sharing too! ... show more

My daughter was so excited to receive this camera for Christmas. Definitely reminds me of the polaroids I used to snap as a kid, though these are a bit smaller. The film has a real vintage feel and it’s so cool to watch it develop. I helped her take a couple photos so she could get used to it and we ended up with some cute and fun family photos. The one down side is that the film only comes in packages of 10 (though there are some multi packs) so you only get 10 shots before you have to change it. Overall, well worth the price I paid. In fact, I may buy one for me! Would absolutely recommend! ... show more

I have always been interested in Polaroid photography but didn’t want to deal with large clunky camera’s and hard to use film. I luckily came across this beauty and I have never been happier! This instant camera is the BEST investment I have ever made. I did tons of research and this camera kept coming up as the easiest to use and the best price for what you get. This camera is definitely worth the buy! I have take a hundreds on picture on this and it still works perfect every time. I even took it on vacation and with me to California and didn’t have too big of a problem with it at the airport which was a relief. I am planning a trip to Europe this fall and will be taking it with me then as well. The camera itself is easy and self explanatory to use. This model also has a selfie mirror on the front so you can see yourself when taking a selfie or group photo. If I could recommend anything to anyone it would be to buy this camera!! ... show more
