Before using this fuel pump, I took some photos because I knew it wouldn't be as easy once I started. Although it requires proper sealing and a clean environment, the motorized and battery-powered pump works as advertised and makes transferring gas a breeze. In just four minutes, I was able to pump 2 1/2 gallons of gas from my motorcycle tank into a fuel can, though there was a slight leak that could have been caused by user error. Overall, this pump is a much better alternative to removing the tank and manually dumping the fuel. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs to transfer gas. ... show more

Received quickly. Came with 3 different sized gas can adapters, fit perfectly. I had to remove the gas strainer on my can first. Put 4 AA batteries in the pump then slid the pickup tube in the gas can. Put the delivery hose in my 65 GTO gas tank which is in an awkward position under the license plate, pressed the on button and watched the gas go in. It took less time than pouring would have. Then I tilted the can to get all the gas I could. When done I pushed the off button then held the fill hose up high to drain the little bit of gas in the hose back into the can. Easy easy love it. Should have gotten years ago. The fill hose is plenty long. :) ... show more

I use it more for motorcycles and go carts, but it works great! Its super easy to just put this on the can instead of having to lift a full 5 gallon jug trying to fill a tiny 1/2 gallon tank. It transfter fuel pretty darn quick too. Definitely recommend it, the only complaint is that the hose is only just long enough to reach the fuel door on a small car. If you have a truck it may not reach without lifting the gas can defeating the purpose a bit. ... show more
