You really can't get it tight enough to pull the kayak without the wheels coming off. Problem is you need to pull you kayak out of a slippery boat ramp.

Moving Kayak. Tires are small and not good for use in sand. IN ADDITION: I cancelled this order 3 days before it was shipped. You shipped it anyway and charged me for the shipping. This is hard to strap into place and have it stay. Works ok for light kayaks. I would get the peg version for heavier kayaks.

I do not recommend this product. This kayak dolly does not work for larger kayaks. The system tends to loosen up when you go over the smallest bump or a 4 inch mound of sand. I am going to have to purchase the other type of Kayak dolly that inserts into the scupper holes that would be far faster, easier to use and maneuver when in use. ... show more
