Just arrived. I installed it on the bag. Looks good. Very plasticky feeling though. In the reviews: People mention they lost it during games. We will see how that goes. I’m not sure if they noticed that there is a lock function to it. But I can’t imagine the magnet let go. Since I pulled on it and pulled my back with it and all 14 clubs. So they did something wrong. This thing works great! Both the brush and the part that attaches to your bag have their own strong magnet, so the brush is very secure when not in use. It's so much nicer than the retractable strings that get in your way (and easily break). Two things to note: 1. The plastic ring on the brush that the metal ring attaches to broke after only a couple weeks. It's not a big deal since literally any brush can be swapped in its place. The magnetic attachment is fine and all I really care about. 2. The magnet inside the part that clips to your bag is held in with glue. After a couple weeks, the magnet came out because of how strong it's attracted to the brush. This was easily fixed by super gluing it back in its hole. I haven't had a problem since. ... show more

The magnetic device works well. I was looking forward to using the product, but somewhere on the back 9 the brush head came off the brush handle. So now I have a nice brush handle with no brush. I understand that it's nice to be able to replace the brush head after it's been used for a season, but what's the point if it doesn't stay on. ... show more

First, I own several Frogger golf products and for the most part they are good products. The Frogger company creates innovative products that answer real-life problems that golfers face on the course. However, over the years I have noticed the quality of manufacturing has declined and resulted in products that easily break or are defective. Let me provide some examples. 2.5 years ago I purchased a Frogger golf brush that had a retractable cord. One feature that I appreciated is that Frogger sold brush head replacements. When the brush head wears out, simply replace it with a new one. Great idea! Then the retractable cord broke and I lost the brush. So, I purchased a new one. However, I noticed the brush handle seemed to be made of cheaper plastic and the clip that holds the retractable cord to the golf bag was more flimsy than the previous brush. Recently, the clip that holds the retractable cord broke and I lost the brush. This leads me to the brush with the magnetic Latch-It system. The product description says it takes 3 lbs of force to remove the brush from the Latch-It mechanism. It also says there is a dial that can lock the Latch-It mechanism so the brush cannot be removed. Today the new brush with Lock-It system arrived. It turns out that a manufacturer's defect does not allow the Latch-It ring to properly lock. Basically, I can remove the brush regardless if the Latch-It system is locked or not. In my order, I purchased a separate magnetic Latch-It system that I thought would be good for another golf accessory (towel). This stand-alone Latch-It system works as advertised. If the magnet is not pulled straight out, it will not release. Also, the locking system works perfectly. My point is that over the years I have seen Frogger's quality decline. Frogger products are innovative and serve a need, however if they charge a premium price, the product should have better quality. If you are looking for a good nylon golf brush, I would recommend the one from Callaway. The handle is more durable, feels more robust in my hand than the one from Frogger, and it is less expensive. ... show more
