So far so good. I already had ceiling hooks in my new rental but no fixtures in either bedroom, so I looped the cord through the hooks and ran it to the hot light switch. I've only put one up one of the two lights in the twin-pack, and in less than 10 minutes. The only minor aggravation is lining the hanging bracket up with the wood fixture. Without that I would have been done in five. :/ It's a very adaptable light, hang-post up or down as you wish, and the length of the rope is adjustable too. The lampshade looks and feels a bit cheap taking it out of the box, but once the light is on the wall it's not obvious. If you want you can pick up an inexpensive replacement shade since it's a common size. I'm fine with it as is. It's a good solution for a light above my home office desk, especially with a smart bulb controlled by voice. It saves me a trip back upstairs when I've left it on. Recommended! ... show more
