All were alive and larger than I expected compared to ones bought at the pet stores. My sweet Starling had absolutely no complaints about his meal worm dinner. The first order of 1000 worms had maybe 200, and maybe 1/4 were already dead, and the rest were lethargic.. The replacement order had about 1400 very active worms with only a handful of dead ones. It has been over a week since the replacement order was received and the worms are still very active. I continue to remove dead worms every day. However, those dead worms may be from the first order.     • Watch out for the weird bugs in with the mealworms!
I liked that the worms did not have meal in with them but, I did not like that the last 2 times I have ordered them they have strange bugs in them!!

Meal worms came quickly, not one dead, 5 pupating, which I needed for my darlkling bug farm. All were healthy. I didn’t count them but there were enough to fill 5 trays of a lot of meal worms. I would purchase from again if needed. 2k count was cheapest on Amazon.

I was initially upset that Amazon promised a particular delivery date until after I ordered, them I got an extended range for delivery. I contacted the seller and got them earlier than expected. The meal worms were in good shape and lasted for several days until they were all eaten. I'm waiting for my second order now and how to get them soon. ... show more

VERY Minimal dead. Maybe 2 or 3 in the entire natch and a couple baby beedles. To me this is a steal. Idk about there being 1,000 but at least a good 800. Very pleased with my order and will ne ordering from them again. Recommend 100 percent.

This is my second purchase from this seller. I bought live superworms last fall. My leopard gecko loves them and they are easier for me to deal with than crickets. These came in a cotton pouch with a wad of crinkled paper to allow them to crawl on and keep from getting squished, all appeared to be alive and wiggling! ... show more

The came on paper wrapped in a pillow case looking thing and put in a shipping box. It was a huge mess to get them all into a container. Idk whos idea that was but it was a bad one!
