Description

Cookeez Makery will amaze you and your child when they freeze a surprise plush best friend. As they open the fridge door, they will discover their own shivering and scented interactive plush friend in the shape of a yummy smelling frozen treat. Cookeez Makery Freezy Cakez comes with everything children need to mix and create a surprise frozen treat. When they first open the fridge door, they will find the ingredients and decorations that inform them which friend they will bake. There's a chance of making a unicorn, polar bear or tiger. Let's get cooking! First, they mix the ingredients to create a cake ball. Then, using the dough mould, they make their ice cream cake layer. They will then add the ice cream sachet to the top of their ice cream cake and add the decorations. It's that easy! Then, pop it in the fridge and shut the door, turning the fridge setting to 10 degrees. In 20 seconds, kids will hear a "ding". It's time to open the fridge and meet a new friend. Wow! You can only use this once? What a rip-off. You can't buy extra mixes for it so the big plastic refrigerator is useless. Very expensive for a one time toy!

    • A bit sad compared to other Cookeez
While cute this set just isn't as great as the Baked Treats / Bakery version from Cookeez Makery. The gimmick of this Freezy Cake plush just doesn't live up to the gimmick of the Bakery Plush (which would warm up when pressed). This plush shivers when you press its back and it's just so sad. I feel so bad for the little cat cake. The plush is scented and the scent is pleasant/matches the berry theme. Long press its back and it shivers (once again, breaking my heart), short press for sounds. There's about 5 different sounds total and if you ignore your plush for long enough it will go to sleep (very cute). Details are printed on, there is no embroidery but everything is well constructed. My cat's cookie portion (on the top of its head) has a bit of trouble staying up. The little 'craft' (mixing dough, molding the cake, icing the cake) didn't work well because the icing included was very hard. The icing is some sort of slime, I think, but it had turned into a solid sheet. I tried to work with it to get it pour-able like the instructions claimed but I didn't have any luck. I had high hopes for this set after the Baked Treats Plush but with the craft portion not working well, I can't say I recommend it over a different Cookeez product. You can, technically, reset the fridge to do the reveal gimmick over and over. I'm not sure how many children will want to play that way but it is an option. The fridge is a nice size for an 18 inch doll, though, so I could see it getting some use after the reveal is done by being repurposed. Otherwise you are left with a bulky, plastic fridge container. ... show more
