Maybe this will help someone decide what size to order. I have an 8, 6, and 4 year old. The size M fits my 8yo, size S for 6yo, and the 4yo can use a S mask, but the fins are still pretty big on him when tightened.

We have an 8 and 10 yr old and they love to swim. We got this snorkel and fin set for them to explore fish in the ocean. Unfortunately with the pandemic our swimming has been limited to the pool, however they still enjoyed being able to use these, so if you have a young kid these work well.

Update: The Freela service team reached out to me to offer a refund and replacement snorkel set at no charge. The replacement snorkel is perfect and hasn’t broken with normal use such as pulling it on and off the mask and submerging it in a lake. The service from this company is probably the best that I’ve encountered after having an issue with a product since they not only replaced the item but also checked to make sure that the replacement arrived and is in good condition. I would buy other items from this company knowing that if something goes wrong, they will fix it. Initial review: My daughter broke her small goggles that cover each eye individually while pulling it off (the back elastic snapped), so I decided to get her this set as a replacement that would hopefully be sturdier. The goggles are great and my daughter has been wearing them into the bathtub everyday while we wait for our lake to warm up. They fit her well and there’s no water leakage around the rubber skirt once properly tightened. My daughter said they’re comfortable. They fog up immediately but the manufacturer’s tip to smear baby soap on the inside of the glass did work to remove fog. The flippers haven’t been used yet but they do fit my daughter’s size 1 feet. Unfortunately the snorkel broke on the first day my daughter used this set. While trying to adjust the snorkel on the side of the mask, while it was being worn, she pulled on the top of the snorkel and it popped off. I realize you probably shouldn’t pull on this, but it’s a kids set and kids are going to be rougher with items than adults are. The vent cap should have been better secured to the bottom of the snorkel since almost every kid will pull on the cap at some point. For the price I just don’t think the snorkel was constructed well enough. ... show more

The attention to detail in the design of this snorkel set is impressive. One standout feature is the cleverly placed valve at the top of the snorkel. The price is great and so is the color and the set which is comprehensive, but the issue I had with this set was that there was leaking of water into the mask, just wish that this wasn’t the case.
