These are beautiful and exactly what I was looking for! I ordered a size 6.5 since that’s my typical show size. That said, they were a little tight on the top of my foot and I struggled a bit to pull the zipper. BUT, they are real leather so they will stretch and after wearing them for one day, I wouldn’t change a thing. Perfect fit around my calf and I would say I have average size calf’s at 5’4” in height. (I’m an athlete, and don’t have muscular calf’s, but some reviews are saying they have narrow calf’s and they were too big. Not so for me!!) The feel is very soft leather, so easy to put on and off with the back zipper. I will wear these when dressed casual or dressed up. So happy they went on sale at 40% off! ... show more

These boots are very nice quality but ordered wide and they did not fit like they were wide. I also have thin legs so even the regular size boot was much to wide for my leg, I could put my whole hand, with it partially balled up, in the boot after zipping it. I was also very surprised at how tall they were. The front hit in the center of my knee and the back were in the fold of my knee which would have been very annoying to me. So, if you have thicker calves and more narrow feet and maybe longer legs you will love these. If not, well…I’ll have to keep looking! ... show more

I was looking for a simple black boot and I came across these. I was a little worried about sizing but it fits true to size. I bought the regular fit (not wide calf) and it’s perfect for me. There are a lot of comments about the shaft of the boot being tall, it is. I’m 5’4 and the top of the boot hits right at my knee cap. It’s not a big deal for me. I love the way the boots look and the leather is soft so it doesn’t bother me. I love these boots and I would recommend getting these. First, let me say that these are indeed attractive boots. Had they been perfect, I would happily have kept them. But there were a few problems: They arrived scuffed on the toe and shaft. ( See pix) Not bad, and I think leather conditioner would have mitigated that. But a flaw nonetheless. The fit on the foot was great, but the shaft was about an inch too high for my lower leg ( Im 5'2"-- and the back of the shaft was higher than the bend of my knee)-- a total deal breaker. Lastly. They were a MUCH LIGHTER tan than the chestnut brown I expected..on closer review, the lighter color is the WIDE version, and the darker ( more desirable to me) color only comes in the Medium. I've included a shot with a two-tone oxford I own to show the contrast with the boots that arrived, with an approximation of the color I THOUGHT I bought. ... show more

I almost didn’t buy them because of the review from KAT but I did anyway since I really liked the deal and she said they are still nice. When my order said these wouldn’t get here in time for an event I went on the hunt for boots today. I kid you not, I just tried on a black with tan cuff version of these exact boots on in the clearance section of my nearest DSW today. They were $250 with 20% off. I didn’t get them because the cuff made my legs look shorter. These have the same rubber markings on their sole and the Franco sarto brand on the sole of the inside of the foot. These are actually softer and more substantial than the Franco Sarto heel boots I had to get rid of after my feet grew from pregnancy. Awesome deal! I may buy the tan ones too even though those are double the price ... show more

Back zipper is a game changer. I travel a lot and putting on and taking off these boots is easier than any other pair I've owned. They are versatile, classic and comfortable. They are exactly as they appear in the picture. These are the hard to find high quality we've all been looking for in 2022.

This boot is absolutely perfect because the zipper, in the back, goes all the way down to the heel. I have disabling shoulder and hand injuries, and I can zip them up, and take them off, by myself.
