I have used this same model for 12 years and it is still fine but I need to update my custom lens prescription that is glued in. So glad it is still available. My head is not small but my face is narrow, so the medium is ideal for me. My last one had a clear skirt so I ordered that and like it. So many people suggested that an opaque skirt is better and I wanted to see if I agreed and ordered this black one. Personally, I am used to the slight peripheral view with the clear one so will stick with that. I took off one star from the black mask (which is actually fine) because the black case that came with it was obviously scuffed and scratched, not new.     • Leaks, not happy with purchase. Want to return if possible.

Leaks when used by three different people to test. Not happy with purchase. Didn't use until return window was closed. Want to return if possible. We have another mask that is about 20 years old which we paid about $35 for and that far out performs this one. Please contact me if we can return this.

Had a little bit of a time trying to keep it from leaking. But over all very comfortable and did what it was suppose to…. Let me see the turtles!!! Shipment was through postal service and we almost didn’t get them in time for trip. They came in the morning we were leaving. I was sweating it slight.

    • Best mask ever, but it doesn't fit my face!
This mask will change your life if it fits your face. The field of view is incredible compared to conventional frame-masks. My wife has two of these in size small. I am filled with jealousy every time I see her diving in it. However, to accomplish the incredible field of vision the mask skirt is short and the lens is very close to your face. This makes the fit less forgiving than traditional masks. I tried several brands of frameless masks and they all leaked at my temples because they are a little too wide for my face. I can wear any standard frame mask with no problem, so I was very disappointed this mask did not fit. I found I had to wear it too tight to stop the leaks, and this eventually causes discomfort. My advice is to buy this mask and wear it in your bathtub without the mask strap. A properly fitting mask does not require a mask strap. However, if the mask leaks with this test, dry it off with a towel to remove any water spots before returning it. There is an idiotic return policy that will not take back a mask that has been worn in the water. The problem here is that dry-fitting a mask is not always reliable. ... show more

I loved the fact that this mask opened my eyes to the underwater world. It was crystal clear and colors of the coral were so much more vibrant as well as the field of vision being great. There are 2 problems with this mask for me and it may be just because of the shape of my face. The nose piece is a strange shape and makes it very hard to pinch your nose to equalize. I have a small nose, but I don't have this issue with other masks. Also the shape doesn't fit very well around my nose so the nose piece was always filling with water. Very uncomfortable for longer dives and I was clearing it every 5 minutes. Still I put up with it to have the amazing clarity that this mask offers. ... show more

    • Good but no better than a traditional mask at half the price
The quality of the glass and materials is excellent. I really didn't notice any great improvement over a quality $50 or $60 dollar framed mask. This leaks some but not the masks fault as I bought it on-line without trying it on. Find one and try it before you put down the money. It might be the perfect mask for you but for me I think it will be relegated to a back up duty. ... show more
