I was debating this case due to cost, but got it anyway. Totally worth it. I bought a couple more drive sleds and currently have 8 hard drives plus a m.2 on the motherboard. Its a very nice case with some very nice features, its also very spacious. One of the big issues I have with this case is that it advertises 9x 140mm fans, which I assume means 3 on the front of the case, the issue here being that you have to take off this little panel for it to fit down there. The case comes with two of them installed on the front so I ordered a third & I had to take the panel off. Not that huge of an issue, just slightly annoying. The only other issue is that when taking off parts of it, like the air filters and the small panel running across the bottom of the back inside the case feel flimsy, almost like they're gonna break off when you take them off which i really dont like, I wish they were made out of something sturdier than plastic. ... show more

They didn’t lie when they said it was XL. It’s big just as it should be. Big enough to not worry about craming wires and water pumps in. This was my 3rd computer build and by far my favorite. Easy to take apart and put back together. Had no issues at all with this case. My temperatures damn near don’t rise and it’s a silent case. As mentioned by other reviewers, this is a great design if you need massive storage. I have 16 hard drives in my RAID 6 array. Before this I had 8 in the case, and the other 8 in an external enclosure. Air flow is great, and cable management is a breeze.

This thing has room for days, even in storage config. My only gripe is that I wish there were a little more space between the motherboard backplate and the case cover. My cables are quite thick and it took a little shoving to get that side of the case latched up. Perhaps some advanced cable management could mitigate this some but it still felt like space was a bit too tight. I think the reason for this was to be able to offer space in front for the (optional) vertical GPU mount, which I didn't get. Still, I'm very pleased with the case and it's a heck of a lot better than the AW Ryzen R10 case I left behind. For a combo file server/dev box/part-time gaming rig, it does the job quite well. I can still drop another 9 hard drives in this thing no problem (already have 12 in it, including the 3 M.2 on the board). If you need space to water cool or add tons of hard drives, this case is a good choice. ... show more

This thing is a dream to work with. Much room, lot of cable management space, nice ventilation. cons are -very heavy -frustrating to screw in the drive sleds -only comes with 3 Fans and a handful of drive sleds. For 2 additional drive sleds it was 15$. An extra 10 sleds are needed to fully populate this tower, so that is 80 extra bucks, plus another 40$ to fill out the fans. By the time you're done you're almost 350$ into this just on the case. ... show more

I absolutely love this case. The Meshify 2 XL has been without a doubt the easiest case I have ever built with. Every part was extremely easy to install. The only issue I had with this case is that some screws were extremely tight, almost to the point of being impossible to unscrew. I'm not docking this case points for that as Meshify has been made aware of it and has since (presumably) fixed it. Overall, I would say go with the non XL version unless you're doing custom water cooling or have the need for a lot of hard drives/SSD. However, Meshify overall is an excellent company and by far have one of if not the easiest case selection to build with. ... show more

I bought an EXTA motherboard that was oversized, and needed a spacious case to handle it and the beefy cooling fan needed for the CPU. The case fit everything perfectly, and had tons of space for additional fans on the bottom, sides, and top. Very good choice for a pro workstation build
