I have this installed on a 5" quad currently and for the most part it's doing pretty well. Two complaints however First, because of the larger lens, I get a lot of glare when facing the sun. I don't have this problem with the cameras that have smaller lenses. Two, after about three or four hours of flying the lens and lock nut came loose and is now a pain to get focused again. Other than that, when the lens is focused and clean the picture is pretty good so long as you're not headed directly into the sun light... ... show more

    • For $20, It's Hard To Beat
For the price and size factor, I couldn't much beat this camera for $20. The picture quality is very good for this price, and my only real complaint about it is that it does tend to wash out under certain lighting conditions. I might actually knock a star off for this if I wasn't just using this camera as an auxiliary camera to look straight down from my F7 FC equipped plane. Other than that, though, it's been a great little camera for the price, and I haven't had any issues otherwise. I would absolutely recommend this camera for a budget beginner build if you're not certain how into the hobby you are yet, as it won't be much lost if you decide to walk away. ... show more

This is a nice camera that works well in both bright sun (good shadow detail) or low light (sunset or night). The camera is built well and comes with all the accessories needed for many different install situations (see photos). It's easy to access the camera menu with the included 5 button pad. The OSD is also super easy to set up to your preferences. Once it's installed and in the quad the picture quality is very good for a $25.00 camera or even higher priced cameras. It's better than any of the no name cameras that came with some of my quads. I like the performance and build quality of this camera much better than the Caddx FPV Camera Turbo EOS V2. One drawback is the size of the lens, its 17.32mm wide so it may be tight for some small frames. Other than that this is one of the best cameras under $30.00. ... show more

I bought this camera after researching lots of different models and brands. The price for the quality of picture and the size is why I bought it. I’ve put it on my old Inductrix + whoop and it’s great! You can see ghost branches with it and the size doesn’t effect the flight time that much. With the camera and vtx, I lost maybe a minute of flight time. So I average 4 minutes now. Highly recommend for any micro drone project! ... show more
