I ordered a scanner to relearn my crank position sensor. I got the 604nt first because it wasn't clear enough through the description that it would not have all the features i needed. I had no problem getting a refund or returning the item so i could get the one i needed. I would advise going to the Foxwell website to verify which version you need. Works great as a basic scanner for check engine codes. But you do need a to purchase a software upgrade in order to unlock the maintenance menu for oil reset, tpms reset, steering assist reset, etc. It’s about $100 for new registrants.

For the price point this is a great data collection device. It helped me solve my TPMS warning light issue by pin pointing which specific wheel speed sensor had failed.

    • Easy to use
The code reader itself is very lightweight and made of plastic. I bought it to read the fault codes on my ABS system in my van and when it was delivered I was happy that I could use it right away. The code reader doesn't need to be charged or takes batteries, it's power source is through the 12v battery in a vehicle or a USB connection to a computer. I updated the system before I ran a diagnostics scan before I used it which didn't take long, maybe a half hour. When I ran a scan for the control module and for ABS it took only a minute or two to come up with the codes. Next to the codes it gives you a possible reason. I don't remember the code but it was UFFF01 or something and it was giving the reason right front wheel speed failure, so it's not difficult to figure out where you need to start to solve the problem with the vehicle. It came in it's own small case for storage. The only thing I don't like about it is it feels like if it were to get dropped by accident, it would easily break. I bought this OBD2 scanner to reset the ABS and Electric Power Break faults on my 21 Gatnd Cherokee L. The website indicates that. it does reset those fault codes and bunch of other codes. When I recived the scanner, I plugged it in and after selecting my vehicle, it showed that, for this vehicle I have to purchase a 12+8 cable in order to reset the codes. Why it didnt mention that on thier website so I order both at the same time. Also, even though it adveritises, FREE life time software upgrade, when I tried to register the product on thier website, it asked for my Credit Card information. and it would not allow me to register the product without providing my CC#. So much for free life time. I returned the product the same day and recived my refund. ... show more

    • Good tool for finding error codes.
This product advertised that it would read the codes and delete them. It read the codes that I had and didn't delete any of them so now I have to figure out how to remove the error codes. Not very happy with the false representation of the produce.
