What can be said about a clock? I have lots of clocks but some I use to see the time quickly instead of for collecting purposes. All the clocks I have that are supposed to update their time via radio waves simply don’t work or completely break after a while so I decided to get an old fashioned battery operated manual time set clock. I wanted one with a sweeping second hand as well. It’s large, lightweight, easy to read, sweeping second hand with minute marks on face, wasn’t overly expensive, and most importantly it has kept perfect time so far. If they pass the permanent daylight savings time law then I won’t even have to change the time twice a year. :) ... show more

I picked this clock because of the clean, simple face and typography. I was a little surprised when in turned up with a bluish tint to the face. At first I thought it must be a plastic film that needed to be removed, but that doesn't seem to be the case. In low light (see Pic 1), it's a little hard to read. Even in full bright light (see Pic 2), it retains its bluish tint. Added to that, in full light it is very reflective, and seems impossible to clean, with even a microfiber cloth leaving streaks and smears. I really want to like this clock, but I fear I'm going to have to return it. ... show more

It fits flush to the wall and it tells time. I would hope that you would buy one so your children in Ivy League schools could have it on their dorm walls so they can know what time it is after they didn't wake up and go to class. I have experience in that.
