Easy to install, the clip for the wire is very useful. - wire, and glove now they included it - if you have old house like 2000, it is very difficult to take out the bowl. It took me 3 hours to take out the tray but to install less than 5 mins. I am never going back to old bowl. - don't need to hire anyone to install. Youtube is your best friend. - I wish they include the knockout plastic so that I don't have to buy HD $50 3/8 knock out. - compared to 1100 lumen, it is the same brightness. I tested it out with other brand just to see. This is more sturdy and not flimsy ... show more

These are super-easy to install, and the best part is you can install them even with a stud directly behind them. They are as thick as drywall, so you can install them anywhere there is drywall--no need for a large space between studs for the can. The downside is there is a "cheap Chinese" quality to them. The j boxes are thin metal that bends when you insert a cable connector. I had a junction box go bad 4 months after purchase, so I went looking for the company contact number... Hehe, sorry Charlie. No contact number to be found. The Amazon listing touts the manufacturer as "FOXLUX" and the description claims it to be a US-based family-run business, yada, yada, but there is no FoxLux website that I could find. I even did a reverse-lookup on their logo--nothing. Sure seems like a fake company to me--how can it not be. No number, no contact information, no nothing. If you want any level of customer service, don't buy these lights. The back of the lights even say "Interteck Model: FX-5CCT-DL6IN12W." In fact, nothing in the packaging or lableing says "Foxlux." More and more, I'm realizing these lights are a cheap Chinese scam. And yet, with that one failure and the begrudging acceptance of a false manufacturer, the lights work well in general. ... show more

The installation is easy. I used a 6 3/8" hole saw and the lights fit great. Be sure to get knock out grommets at the hardware store. The included push in wire connectors make the job quick and easy
