There are a lot of these ultra-thin lights available to buy. I saw these recommended a few different places and gave them a shot. I was looking to start in a music room (12'x11') that is lit by a single light in the center of the room. We have a floor lamp and another small lamp, but the room is still dank and too dark for reading music. I planned on adding 6 of these lights. Depending on how this project went would determine if I did more rooms in the house... And I'm going to do more rooms in the house! The lights are a little time consuming to get installed but connected very easily. I like that you can adjust the color temperature. I feel like they run a little cool/blue. We set them to 3000K and they look pretty similar to some of our 3500K. The website description says 1050 lumen but the box and instructions only list 850 lumen. I feel a little cheated on that false advertising, but once they were put up I'm not sure if the package was wrong and they really were 1050 lumen or if they just really are that bright. The room is transformed! Of note: the website description does not mention it, but the box (which may be wrong anyway?) says these are CRI 80, for those interested. I prefer to buy 90, but found them hard to come by, and these looked great. Maybe time will tell as they get used. All in all, highly recommended. I'm going to tackle the next room now! ... show more

The 6 lights comes with a connectable junction box. The lights themselves can be set to the color temperature of your liking from yellow to daylight and are bright, but has option to dim. They look great upon install with the low large profile it has. I like that they also come with a warranty for 5 years which is a good amount of time for it. The quality of this besides the great light is the ease of install only having to really cut hole’s in the ceiling and drag wire around to the connection junction box. Easy install and great lighting. Used to have fluorescent gigantic box and I replaced it with these. The light looks really good. They hook up super fast. And each light comes with it's own junction box. The hardest part of this instal was crawling around the attic. You can connect these with a dimmer switch. ... show more

These lights were easy to install and they work well on a compatible dimmer. I did have a junction box stop working after 1 month. I replaced it with an extra one I purchased and the lights are working well now. When I tried to contact customer@foxluxlite.com - I had my email returned : "Your message wasn't delivered to customer@foxluxlite.com because the domain foxluxlite.com couldn't be found."
