Let me start this with, I'm not handy. I'm not good with tools. I dont build things regularly. But, I managed to assemble this desk. There were a few problems though 1. One of the top support bars the little metal place where you screw another support into was not attached, the glue already let go prior to assembly. I was able to make it work by hammering the metal piece back into place and during assembly it hammered this piece farther into the support. I'm not 100% confident this is structurally sound anymore, but it works and the desk isnt wobbling all over the place. But in terms of long term durability, I'm definitely not confident. 2. The cross bars across the back, they're TIGHT. Putting these in place can cause the legs to bend, but for the structure of the unit they're essential. So they're not horrible but maybe an additional cenitmeter of metal would still keep the structure, but not bend the legs. 3. The top screw holes dont line up square with the support bars. Eventually this works, but it was certainly challenging to put the top in place with inconsistent holes in the top Its an attractive functional desk though. The headphones hook is definitely a plus, the little bag though, I dont have a use for it but maybe someone else does ... show more

The assembly was easy for the most part. The frustrating thing about it was having to hammer and work around the uneven screws and storage compartment. But in the end it looked nice enough and is pretty sturdy.

Found these desks at the last minute, since school started in 2 weeks. Bought 2 of these hoping the delivery would be on time, although it took a little longer, still on time. Now for the main view on the desks (at least the 2 I received) were in good condition, maybe some small scratches/dents here and there on the edges but that you can attribute mostly to UPS throwing boxes around. Desks look nice once set up (took about 20 min each).. cheap but professional. One thing I will mention is to be aware when screwing the # 2 screws for the bars to the bottom of the desks. They don't go all the way in, basically a hand tight fit.. any further and you WILL break through the desk causing also to strip the bolt. Happen to me with one of the screws when I went to tight, cracked the desk on top but not so noticeable that it had to be scrapped but just be aware they need to be HAND TIGHTENED, basically. If you have OCD (like me) you'll notice the storage bag holes are a little off to add the screws but if you can get passed it, no one will really notice since it's covered by the edge of the table. So far they're pretty good on holding a couple of books. The hook was a good addition also, I was able to screw it on the inside and it WORKS to hold the headphones.!! As you can see in the pic I was able to set up 2 monitors on one desk and another with one 23" monitor and a Chromebook but kept it simple and left one monitor for each ( But definitely enough room to fit 2 small 23" monitors). If you are looking for something that can hold up heavier equipment since these desks do feel a little lightweight then I would suggest maybe paying a little more for a sturdier desk. Now if it's something temporary until you can find something more reliable then I would say go for it. ... show more

I read some of the more negative reviews when buying this so I was prepared to have something go wrong, but surprisingly nothing did. I think it's a bit expensive for the quality but it's also better than what I expected. It's not wobbly with my two monitors on it and it gives me way more space than my other desk did. Putting it together was simple, maybe took 30min to build, and the directions were good enough for someone to figure out. They also give you extra screws. Here's some "negatives": I bought 2 desks from this company in the same color, one 55inch and one 32inch to make an L. The little bag that came with the larger desk was a different color and worse quality than the one that came with the smaller desk. The larger desk also sits lower than the smaller desk, but at least they're the same wood color. Dimensions measured: Just under 24inch depth, just over 55inch wide, 29inch high ... show more
