  • Good Quality, But More General Purpose Than Fine Finish
This is a good quality blade at a good price, but despite being listed as a "finish" blade it's really more of a general purpose blade. The few cuts I've done with it so far are clean enough, but not at the level of a fine finish blade. It made good progress through 3/4" plywood and produced a credible cut. I haven't used it enough to comment on durability, but the teeth look to have enough carbide on them to last decently well. Note that although the item listing trumpets the thin kerf, it may not be for everyone or every task. The thin kerf comes from a very thin blade, which allows more side to side wobble in use. In most uses the thin kerf is probably an advantage, at least it produces less saw dust than a thicker kerf blade. ... show more

  • My first "finishing" blade
This is the first finishing blade I've used on a table saw. It's installed in my Hercules jobsite saw from HF and I am so far happy with the results. Using to create garden trellises, primarily cutting cedar fence boards into long strips. It definitely removes less wood on each pass, as I'm able to get an extra strip out of each board. I'm not seeing an more tearing than I do with the stock blade, either. And, I can't tell if this is a placebo effect or not, but I think cutting with this blade is easier. On the whole, happy with this blade. ... show more

  • Very Smooth Cuts
Using this in my table saw for small projects, mostly plywood. Cuts are very smooth, and the thin kerf saves wood when ripping strips of wood for trimming. I can't speak to the longevity yet, have been using it only a few weeks.

  • Works well with Milwaukee M18 Table Saw
I installed this blade on a Milwaukee M18 Fuel Table Saw and have used it primarily with 1x and 2x fir lumber. What I liked: 1. It fit the arbor and clamped nicely with no wobble. 2. It was the same width as the stock riving knife. 3. The blade itself is well-made, with no warping. 4. It makes a clean cut with no tear-out. 5. It is indeed a thin-kerf blade, which is necessary on battery-powered portable table saws. Minor dislike: 1. A 40 tooth blade is not quite a "finishing" blade. On the whole, given the price this seems to be a good, general-use, replacement blade for portable table saws with an 8.25 inch thin-kerf requirement. ... show more

  • Extra thin kerf
The kerf is only .079". It's a finishing blade, it's not meant for general work. It's not carbide tipped.

  • Not Really for Finish Work
The blade is decent quality and is sharp and cuts well. It does not warp/wobble and provides a smooth cut, but is not really for "finish" work. Cross cutting is best use. It's a 40-tooth blade, which is not for fine finish work. Not great for rip cutting, either. It's a combination blade and works well and is of good quality for that purpose. ... show more

  • Always keep a spare sharp blade
It’s always nice to have an extra blade around and this will fit both my makita 8 1/4 circular saw and my companies Dewalt 8 1/4 job site table saw. You never know when you’re gonna run into a situation where you need an extra clean cut. So this will live in the truck til that day when I’m cutting a kitchen cabinet, or some cabinet grade plywood for shelves, etc etc. blade looks good enough. Plenty of teeth for those finish cuts. It matters less to me how long it holds up, as it’s going to mostly live in the toolbox until needed for specific cuts. Well packaged, no complaints ... show more

  • general cross cut blade
Popped is on the Powermatic to test the cut and found it did cut cleanly. But as is the case with many very thin kerf blades it cuts with a tiny bit of wave, even with a blade balancer, a problem that I don't see with the Freud. But I have no doubt that it would work just fine for a portable saw for general cutting. ... show more
