Features

  • Sturdier and Smooth: Upgraded X-axis and Y-axis with steel wheels provides enhanced precision and stability during carving and engraving. And the steel wheels greatly improve longer life span than rubber wheels. Regular cleaning is recommended to maintain during engraving.
  • Improved Z-axis travel: The Masuter 3 extend Z-axis travel up to 3.74 (95mm), which can work with thicker materials. The effective working area is 15.75 x 15.75 x 3.74 (400 x 400 x 95mm). This machine can support the extension kit for large woodworking projects. The extension kit is avialable now!
  • Stable Structure: X-axis uses 23*60mm profiles and Y-axis uses 8mm aluminum sheet, which makes the machine more rigid. The Z-axis uses linear rails and lead screw to improve stability and accuracy of the machine. This machine can support T-slot hybrid spoilboard work table.
  • Upgraded Design: Equipped with Y-axis dust baffles can keep the belts and wheels from dust and debris during carving. A compact controller box and additional working light are newly designed to make it more convenience to work than the last version.
  • Support Nema 23 Stepper Motor: The Masuter 3 can support upgrade Nema23 stepper motor for more torque, which is the only entry-level machine that can be upgraded to the Nema23 stepper motor. The stepper motor kit is coming soon.
  • With Different Spindle Clamps: Masuter 3 comes with 52mm and 65mm spindle clamps to allow the use of different spindles, such as 300W spindle and trimmer router. 69mm spindle clamp is not included. Please purchase separately.

Works perfect with Easel(free version) software however going to try VCarve, appears to be more user friendly only issue I had was one of the pins on one of the limit switch connections pushed out when I plugged it in just needed to push it back in with needle nose pliers.     • Great entry machine and beyond
This is a very solid machine with upgrades like guards over the Y axis and steel wheels/rods to prevent wear. It works great out of the box with no issues. I did upgrade to the Foxalien router for more power as most people do, I haven't done alot with this yet as I'm still learning but I would recommend it. Easy setup and easy to get cutting. I just wish instead of having the option to extend the size on the y axis, they had an extension on the x axis (which they only have for the 3s) it would make the machine a lot more flexible when your project size grows. If you can spare the extra cost to for the 3s instead. It has the expansion kit that can grow with you and also has Nena 23 motors (more powerful) and closed lopped ( more accurate and stable and knows its positioning) ... show more

    • A few bugs to work out
They figured out there were issues. So the came out with the Masuter 3S. Changed out the X belt after 15 projects. Have issues with the controller. Sometimes it works and others nothing. Working with Fox Alien on the controller issue. I also have a Masuter Pro, never had any issues with this one.

First off let me start by saying my first FoxAlien machine was the Masuter Pro. Which is a great machine. But the Masuter 3 is great. They have taken everything that we have been talking about and doing for upgrades and put it in this Masuter 3. Love this machine, it’s well build. Now has guards to protect the belts from saw dust and anything else, the added steel wheel guides make it move smoother and perform better. The main controls are now away from the machine and not in your way when loading a bigger piece on to your cnc. The assembly of this machine was very quick and easy. The instructions are great and easy for any one to figure out. I’d recommend this to anyone looking to get into the CNC world. 10/10 ... show more

Machine stopped working . No fix . Support just runs me around and won't replace any parts . Going on 3 weeks now . I have a very expensive boat anchor at the moment .

I am a current owner of the Masuter Pro and there were a few features that could have been improved on. FoxAlien did it with this one! The machine is very well built and thought out. Dust guards for the Y-Axis rails were a must and they are built into this unit. They keep sawdust and small wood chips from interfering with the belt drive system. The upgraded steel wheels provide a much smoother operation. FoxAlien definitely listened to the users like myself and delivered. I would highly recommend this CNC for anyone looking to get started. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Very good starter machine. Was skeptical that I wasn’t going to know how to work it. But the instructions that come with are very detailed and clearly written. Software I use is easel.
