Contrary to popular belief, the gloves labeled as "Dark Purple" are, in fact, dark purple. The palm of the glove is jet black; but the back of the hand is dark purple. I ordered these thinking that they were black, so when I pulled them out, they clearly were dark purple, looking as if they were once black and became faded from direct sun exposure... I rode 4 hours on my mtn bike...black diamond to green trails. Light weight. Works great with my phone. Fits tight. I have small hands, and I ordered the large. Perhaps a xlarge would have gone on easily but, will it be as snug as the large? I prefer the large. Hopefully over time from pulling the gloves on they don't rip...that is usually what happens with any pair I've own. Time will tell. So far with the hot temperatures in Colorado, I'm enjoying them. ... show more

Gloves fit well feel good and nice and grippy. The only problem I had in the past with Fox is the seams coming apart quickly without crashing. These don't seem to have that problem.

LOL! Well... the image they had up (when shopping) was a different color too. So... I made sure to read the fine print "description" and chose DARK PURPLE. Even though the pic I was staring at was NOT. LOL... then they came... and the package the gloves were in-even marked dark purple were still incorrect. Pretty funny. But I do like them. So I'm not returning them. Unless they wear out asap. Stay tuned. I do wish I had the dark purple ones that I did in fact order however. :^) ... show more
