    • 58937 compressor not happy with it
The compressor pump willed start pumping than stop and I have a 30 lbs tank of freon it would not fill the system everything has been replaced on the system orifice tube dryer condenser the compressor stop pumping but the clutch is running but the owl glass on the gauges no freon flowing . Compressor not working ... show more

Looked well built (even showed to be assembled in Texas), and was very quiet when running (a plus since the OEM unit sounded like marbles in a dryer) Installed new accumulator, new condenser, new suction lines, new O-tube. Vacuumed and held for 4 hours so no leaks. Used OEM oil (Delco expensive stuff). Cooled great for 2 months and was SUPER QUIET... then one day, with little fanfare, my truck stopped blowing cold. Pressures were not right, and noticed oil leaking from the rear case seal. Took the system apart today to find the o-tube clogged with shrapnel. I like 4S for their sensors and hard-to-find A/C components, but this was an expensive mistake. Ordered a new Delco compressor along with new condenser, O-tube, accumulator and more AC flush... out $400 but hopefully the Delco wont be a dud. Assume I go through 4S for the warranty replacement on this thing... ... show more

    • Failed after a year
Seemed to be a well built unit for the price, & worked great, for a year. Then it started leaking out the case. I have used other Four Seasons compressors without issue, so maybe this was a fluke. But between my experience & other reviews, it’s hard to recommend this model.
