I use this as a Bible Journal. Excellent quality. Binder opens flat so it's easy to write on front or back of the paper. The pre-numbered pages are a great convenience. Hard cover makes writing easy. Pocket inside the back cover is convenient for misc papers. The Content index on the first 4 pages is also excellent for organization. Good product that arrived in good condition. Highly recommend as a journal, Bible Journal, health/fitness journal or note taking. Well made product. I chose the B5 item with 10" x 7.08" paper, which is a perfect size for my use as it is similar in size to my iPad. I now have 3 of these notebooks in various colors to help with organization. The colors I have purchased are true to colors presented on the Amazon site. So far, paper has not bled even when using various ink pens. Holds up to pencil pressure. I go thru a notebook this size every 6 months or so with patient notes, vitals etc. I am hospice. THIS guy, is EXCELLENT and finally found the PERFECT notebook for my job after trying so many. Love the hardback style, ability to lay it open flat, the blank date on the corner and extra stuff in front where I keep door codes, phone numbers etc. Pages are thick but not too thick. This will not fall apart before I use the last page and that us very important as I've had to use clips and tape on others halfway through because of cheap material. Sturdy, pretty and professional. Great size and nice to write in. Cost is also very good. I've purchased same size notbooks with the plastic/vinyl like front at a higher cost or equivalent but the others fall apart every time. I have bought many notebooks and this is the first time actually that I feel it’s a fabulous purchase. The hardcover is smooth. Feels nice in the hand. The wire spiraling is not big for the notebook and or too small and the wiring is actually nice and strong not Flimsy!!! The paper is not thin. It’s a good quality paper and it’s enjoyable to write on. This notebook is a 10 out of a 10 and I’m very picky. Anyone have any suggestion on a good quality pen that’s bold 1.0, again I am very picky and I feel I have tried hundreds and not have found the one. Thanks ... show more

I use this notebook as my business notebook. Anything I need to write down, plan out, my thoughts etc. I do like how it has the table of contents so you can go back etc. I usually don't like the numbers on the pages but that's the point of the table of contents. It's easy to use, it has a pen holder which I love, the value it's good. It's a beautiful book and I would get this one in any other colors. I love thick books so this one is good for anyone who need it for school or just anything in general. I bought some other notebooks from other brands but this is also a good one at a decent price. 👌 ... show more

    • Horrible with fountain pens, otherwise nice. Note: 150 sheets = 300 pages.

I purchased this to use as a journal to use with my fountain pens (I am a fountain pen geek). This paper is WAY too thirsty for fountain pens. Medium pens look like magic marker on this paper and fine nibs look like sloppy medium nibs. Tons of feathering, bleed-through, and your writing looks terrible. It just SUCKS ink out of the pen - it's crazy to watch, actually. I tested the paper with a Pilot G-2 07mm gel pen and it writes just fine. So gel or ballpoint inks are probably fine. Water based inks, forget it. Regarding the build of the notebook it is really nice. The front and back covers are very thick and protective. I have the maroon color. The sheen of the covers do pick up "fingerprints" really easy, which appears as greasy looking smears on the cover. The elastic band to hold the cover closed is pretty weak, I'm considering cutting mine off as I think it might be more of a distraction than it is worth. The paper (other than being crazy absorbent) is a nice thickness, and the lines on the pages extend nicely to the edges of the pages with minimal margins on top and bottom, maximizing writing area. The pages have a nice feel, almost coated feeling, which is obviously NOT the case given the absorbency. Overall, this is a very nice notebook for keeping permanent notes, journaling, etc., at a decent price. (Can you believe we are at a place where $15 is a "decent" price for 150 sheets of paper?) If used with a fountain pen only, I would give this 2 stars. With a gel or ballpoint pen, or any pen that doesn't use water based ink, it is closer to a 5 star. I compromised with a 4. ... show more

I use this for tracking my workouts (I’m old school and like using pen and paper lol). I love the size of it. It allows me to track about 3 different days of workouts per page. I also enjoy the fact that is has an index in the front to keep track of what I’ve written on which page. The pages are nice and thick, the design is sturdy, and I love the green color. I love these little notebooks/journals. I use to write down notes and key concept with my French language studies. I have another one for journaling and bought a third as a gift to go with a starter poem writing book for my niece. They are very nice with folder pocket in the back, elastic band to hold closed or saving a page and a pen holder.
