UPDATE: Got my 4 replacement fans and they all exhibit the same issue. They installed the LED circuit in the center of the fan, UPSIDE DOWN. See photos. Down to 1 star. Would not recommend. Never buying again. Bought 8 fans. 4 out of the 8, the center light on the fan doesn't work. Just the outside ring light. Still pretty good lights. A little disappointed 4 of them has that defect. If I put them a steady color, you can really tell the center light isn't working. While in RGB, it's not that noticeable. Really don't want to take them out and replace them because cable management was a pain. Only bought these because they were cheap. I guess I got what I paid for. ... show more

So far I am satisfied with the performance for the price of these fans, having come from 1500rpm fans, these are obviously gonna be a bit louder, but nothing that a custom fan curve can't fix. Haven't had any issues with the RGB using Aura Sync either 5/12/2020 Update After owning these fans for a few months, and reinstalling them a few times around the case, the anti vibration pads on them gave out pretty much. On another fan, a whole corner broke off while screwing it in. While these did outperform the Bitspower Notos fans I was resorted to use (since I already had them beforehand), I can no longer run them due to the fans vibrating against the radiators due to vibration pads giving out and the third fan's corner just breaking off entirely. ... show more

I'm writing this review super fast because I saw it didn't have any. So, will it work tomorrow? Idk yet. But today, it is absolutely gorgeous, quiet and pushes air great! 10/10 def worth especially for 12$. Beats the crap out of my 25$ cooler master. Will update if necessary (hopefully not)

I have use Formulamod for several items in the past. Great prices, great products and great service. I wasn't 100% sold on these fans until I received them. I'm a bit of a fan hoarder. I have about 20+ fans from a lot of different manufacturers. These are right up there with the "brand name" fans. Pros Look Great Can Daisy Chain Move Air Well Cons A Bit Loud I have these mounted on my Black Ice 360 Rad, and they do a great job. I have them running around 40% which gives them around 1300rpm, plenty for this rad. At full RPM they are around 1900rpm. These have the 11/blades and really move a lot of air at high rpm. I find them perfect for using on a rad or as a case fan. Out of all the fans I own....the Gentle Typhoon's are probably the best performing, and most silent. They are also over 20.00(US) each. As I said, this isn't my first experience with Formulamod. I have had several orders, and the only issue was a watercooling fitting that had a mfg. defect. There was no way of seeing it until the package was opened. I contacted FM, attached a few pics of the issue....and he sent me a replacement out right away. As I said.....great performance, great price, and seems like quality build. For a little over 10.00/ea....a great buy! ... show more

Bright, fast, cool, affordable and aRGB!! You can’t go wrong buying these at all! No regrets whatsoever. The amount of air they move is AMAZING. Pros: Airflow. This made my horrible airflow case have accrual airflow. My case only has slots in the front of the case where it’s supposed to let air in. No fan has been able to adequately do that until I installed these fans. The piece of paper shown in the pictures is there to reference that. Bright: Colorful aRGB with a ring in front giving them extra flavor without the ridiculous price. Worked perfectly with my existing hub. Price. These are aRGB folks. Not RGB. The market isn’t saturated in aRGB yet but the options are ridiculously expensive. These fans also take care of this. Cons: Not really a con unless you expect a dead quiet system running at all times. Yes they do make noise. But not like the exaggerating reviews here about a jet engine and a vacuum. Nonsense. If you set a good fan curve in your bios. You’ll never hear them. I have them running at 80% at all times since my case is horrible and it’s still quiet. It’s a 2000rpm fan. It’s gonna make noise. Light bleed: Looks like the aRGB led in the chassis bleed thru since the fans and ring don’t go all the way down. Not a big deal. This is just nitpicking. Overall I recommend these to everyone. I bought six already for my case. Buying six more for my kids rig and six more for my wife. ... show more

    • Absolutely fantastic value! Just make sure your Mobo has a 5v rgb header
If your Motherboard has a 5v rgb header and you don’t want to spend a ton buying a special hub and other nonsense for nice looking and functional rgb fans these are the deal. Each fan can be daisy chained with each unit having its own Rgb plug and Header. Simply use one to plug into the motherboard and then connect the rest to that fan. I am going to test out a couple rgb strips I have just to see if they will work as well. Will update when I do. The colors are bright and vibrant but much warmer than most rgb fans. I am assuming these have less leds throughout than the expensive “premium” fans. I Saved my client over two hundred bucks by using these instead of a competitors extremely expensive hub and 3 pack fan set. I have only been using these is a single build for 14 hours, so if anything goes wrong I will update. So far this is a 100% buy in my opinion. ... show more

I love this fan. It's very high quality, heavy, plastic. Nice rubber pads to prevent vibration. The LEDs on this thing are absolutely stunning and they are diffused perfectly!

Good, high airflow fans for surprisingly cheap. The quality is good and the lighting looks great. Took a star off because one unit was defective and had to order a new one. For the quality and price I still recommend them though!
