I bought my 48 volt, 15 amp FormCharge Smart Charger for my 2009 RXV EZGo golf cart one year ago after my original one died. The new charger worked flawlessly during the year, particularly during extended periods of time when the trickle feature kicked in and kept the batteries charged and ready to go when I returned from a long trip. Suddenly, the charger continued to run, never achieving a full charge. I contacted the company and within 24 hrs. two reps called me. Arnold had me go through some testing tips and Ron sent me a Battery Test Link and Trouble Shooting Testing Guide. Ron called me every day checking on my progress and stated if the batteries could be load tested to determine if one or more batteries was not defective, they would replace the charger. I did just that. I took it into the EZGo repair facility and sure enough, one battery was not pulling its weight and the other 3 were close behind. I ended up replacing the 4 batteries (had been 5 years) and now the charger is working flawlessly once again. Good company with concern after the sale. Kudos to Ron and his team. I gave 4 stars because we had a problem with the charger after just a few months as it stopped charging the golf cart battery. I contacted the company directly and after submitting the appropriate paperwork and photos they requested, the warranty was honored, and we received a new charger within a few days.
