My windshield cracked from the edge, a crack about six inches long and growing a half inch each time I drove the car.So I thought I'd try this 10 dollar product so see if I could stop the crack from expanding so I could continue to drive the car. Didn't have high hopes. However, it worked! Most of the crack disappeared from sight and it stopped expanding. The only reason the crack didn't disappear completely is that I didn't really carefully follow the instructions to get all the air out. My fault. Took less than an hour. Worked very well, and was enough fluid to fill three cracks. It was easier to use than I had anticipated, and filled the cracks nicely. The only caveat I would give people it to put down some painters tape along the bottom of the windshield to cover the rubber before using the product. A small drip of the filler got onto the rubber. I was amazed at how quickly it began to melt the rubber. Minor issue, cleaned up quickly. I applied blue painter's tape to the bottom edge of the windshield and proceeded with no other problems. Would definitely buy it again. I also wanted to share that Safelite quoted me almost $180 to fix the three cracks. I carry a high deductible, so my insurance was not going to help. They set up an arrival time to my house that was a six hour window. After waiting 4 hours they called and apologized for having to cancel. I went right to Amazon and ordered this.
