Used both the stand and installed and both ways didnโ€™t take up much room. Would have been better if you could lock the stand at whatever angle you wanted but once folded out itโ€™s not too bad. Itโ€™s pretty tall, leaned against its stand i can see myself completely and then some and im 6โ€™ tall. Only reason i took one star off is because it had a defect underneath the top glass so itโ€™s imbedded in the mirror. Other than that the mirror is really great. ... show more

This looks good in a minimalist way, just the glass and simple metal frame showing, a clean look. The back is matching black, including the stand. The image is bright and clear. It seems sturdy enough. The frame is metal, very likely aluminum, as it's not terribly heavy nor magnetic. The whole mirror with stand weighs 21 pounds on my scale. It comes ready to install in any of three ways. You can hang it from two already-attached hooks with screws (two 1-1/2" screws with plastic anchors also included), use the attached metal stand, or my favorite: lean it against the wall. The latter is easiest and gives a better angle than the stand and takes up less floor space. The stand goes back 14" from the back of the mirror. It has locking hinges and is fairly solid. It measures 63-3/4" x 20-7/8" x just under 3/4", about 1" with the stand folded in. The stand can be removed if you're going to hang it and want the extra 1/4" back. Came with excellent packaging, arrived in pristine condition. The box had a big gash through it, but it didn't penetrate the styrofoam protecting the mirror all the way up and down. Packed perfectly as it is obviously glass, so it arrived pristine. It is actually solid construction, with the gold brass around an inch thick. I was please to see that they included built in hanging hooks on either side, as well as mounting hardware should one wish to hang this. The fold out stand works right out of the box, and has locks on the arms so you set them as it stands. Very easy to set up. It is a touch heavy, so a second person might be nice if one struggles with weight on larger sized objects. A child was enough to help in this instance. Mirrors always are a nice touch to any room. Often they can be too pricey though. This is such a good value I may get another one. So far it seems like a good image, but I may wait a few days. I want to ,are sure there is no concave to it, as it is a large mirror. A concave bend would make the image distort to a wider/shorter image, whereas a convex shape elongate the image. I feel like there may be a slight concave, but I will need to look closer. I will adjust rating if I actually find any distortion. ... show more

The more I use this the more I like it. Don't always like what I see in the mirror but that's a different issue. It can be mounted to the wall or it has an integrated stand. I like the versatility that I can move it around especially near another mirror that I have mounted to the back of a door so I can see my back clearly. I also like that I can put it in the closet and easily set it up for a quick look and then put it back. I'm a big boy and I can see all of me at one time so it's tall enough and wide enough for most people. It's stable even on my pile carpet and the dogs have bumped it a few times and it barely budged. I'm thinking of getting a couple more for my guest bedrooms. ... show more

I noticed how well the piece was packaged. There is wooden blocking on the corners. The Styrofoam did not break apart easy and go all over the house. That was welcomed. The thin metal frame is strong and non obtrusive. The size of the mirror is great. To see yourself full length is simple. You don't need to jockey around to see your entire outfit. It is sturdy when leaned with its stand. The back panel of the mirror is totally caulked in place which makes it feel very sturdy. This mirror is a winner. ... show more
