My husband is trying to hold on to his iPhone X for as long as he can and the Otterbox that he had on it split when the phone fell. This one has multiple layers of protection and, when set next to the Otterbox, is significantly more sturdy because of the extra layer of protection on the outside. The cover on the side and on the charging port close nicely, and stay closed. Sometimes they can be fussy and annoying. The covers on the buttons don't impede you from making changes. One note, read the instructions before trying to put it on the phone, just to avoid frustration. It might seem like a straightforward three piece case but you have to put it on in a particular order.     • Awesome colors, but the soft part of case is on the outside

My other cases tend to have the soft flexible side on the inside casing the phone with the hard plastic on the outside. I believe it's done that way for better shock absorption for your phone .This one is the reverse. You open up the hard inside and put the phone in. then slide it into the soft case. I'm concerned about how well it will protect it from drops. The colors are amazing. They are perfect together and honestly that was the main reason I wanted this case. The case itself is good... but the screen protector... I don't know much on the subject of screen protectors but the ones provided are thin sheets of plastic. Not sure what thats gonna do to prevent cracks but i don't trust it. While the case itself seems sturdy the quality of the screen protectors got me worried about how it'll hold up if the designers thought a thin sheet of plastic was enough for the screen. what else did they think was good enough. Granted i'm still gonna use it, but im replacing the screen protector with some tempered glass. It'll due for now... ... show more
