The screen and tools are good quality and this will allow a slightly older and damaged phone to live on for only $20, or so. Educate yourself on the procedure FIRST before removing the old screen, use magnification (head mounted or on an articulating arm) since the screws are 1-2 mm in size. Even though the description of this item says "The Face ID and 3D touch will work like the original screen". It did not work. An error appears saying an "unknown part" was installed so Face ID is disabled. The link to this items install instructions is broken. I bought this screen back in 2022 and the screen was perfect. Now, back with another broken screen, I bought a replacement hoping that it would be the same quality. However, it was not. The first screen that arrived was broken on arrival, no response and was black when turning on my device. I tried multiple times - no luck. I submitted a request for a replacement, hoping that it would be better and that it was a mistake on their end - all good. Nope. The new screen has touch responsive issue. The screen feels like it has a delayed feeling. I tested my old screen and the new screen to be sure. Overall, I gave the product 2 tries and came out disappointed. Would not purchase again.     • Great quality but glitchy digitizer

UPDATE: the seller contacted me about the glitchy screen and asked to resend another one for free because it may have got damaged during shipping so it went from 2 stars to 5 stars I have received the new screen and it works flawless it works just as good as a oem iPhone screen and I don’t have the apple has detected a non genuine apple product no more also. Will make sure to come back to them Screen was installed correctly I even tried it on other iPhones 11 the LCD works amazing but the screen I had received had a super glitchy digitizer, like I said I had tested it on other phones also and one thing I have noticed it it doesn’t clip in all the way at the bottom yeah your still able to screw the screws back in but the bottom right corner constantly pops out and is hard to pop back in and I even checked the pins and everything, like when it started being glitchy with ghost touches and everything I literally had to hit it multiple times for it to stop glitching and then 2 minutes later it started glitching again ... show more

Bought this for my wife's Iphone 12. Screen looks nice BUT, any time that her phone dies and we recharge it, we cannot turn on the screen (we can tell that the phone is back on and charged because alarms and notifications sound and I can press side buttons simultaneously and it vibrates for me to power it off but of course I can't because the screen will not come on and will not respond to touch). The only way I have been able to get it to come back on is to open up the phone and unplug the battery which of course kills the phone. After that I can press the power button and it all comes back on and works again, This has happened 3 times now. FOLLOW-UP The seller has been very responsive to my issue and sent me a replacement before I even had a chance to respond to them. I actually haven't had a chance to install the replacement yet but I absolutely give them high marks for the way they have handled following up with me and staying in touch.     • WARRANTY REPLACEMENT WORKS BETTER

I experienced problems with the first screen I received and installed. After contacting the seller, Amazon sent a no hassle replacement screen and return label. The initial install was relatively difficult due to the tiny screws involved and OEM glue points. The second installation was much easier being I had recently did the process. A magnifying glass is helpful and the tools provided are sufficient. Dr Screen was the seller and the technical support from Rachel was excellent and the warranty process was simple. I would have given 5 stars, except the screen seems a little less sensitive than OEM, most noticeable while typing a text or email. When using the key board, you have to touch a little harder and sometimes it will select the adjacent character. The replacement kit is complete with screen, screen protector, seal gasket and tools. This replacement can be completed by a novice person that is somewhat mechanically inclined and has patience. ... show more
