I needed a new rubber slipcover (I call it the “rubber bumper”, lol) on my Otterbox Defender case, as the original was literally falling apart after a few years’ worth of daily wear and tear. The inner plastic shell of my Otterbox case was perfectly fine, I just needed a new rubber bumper! I’m happy to report that the rubber slipcover of this case fits PERFECTLY on the Otterbox Defender’s plastic shell. I can even use my Otterbox belt clip over it without any issues! The lock button has more of a hair trigger now, but that’s not so bad. It also has some nice grooves on the sides for gripping; the Otterbox didn’t have that. So I can’t say what the plastic inner shell of this RegSun case is like (I threw it into my junk drawer and I’ll probably use it if the Otterbox shell ever breaks), nor the screen protector and so-called “fingerprint reader”, but if you need a replacement rubber slipcover for your Defender? This is a perfect fit, it’s cheap, and comes in lots of color options. So there you go. ... show more

This is my second one of these cases and it's held up a lot better than my last. Non of the bits that close over the charger or ringer have fallen off or deteriorated in anyway after months of use.
