I picked this up for my son as a congrats to progressing to tackle football and getting to choose your own jersey number. I got his as "7". For youth, the chain is a little long in my opinion, my son is 8 but he's a big boy 8, so the necklace hangs just to the top of his stomach instead of between his pecks. Not a big deal. The pendant is pretty small, about a half inch to three-quarters inch tall, and about a quarter to a half in wide. Again, not a big deal just giving dimensions. He absolutely loves this thing and does not take it for anything. He showers, practices, sleeps in it and never takes it off. So after about a week of this, everything has held up great. The paint on the football is still there and strong, there's been no corrosion on any of the metal pieces, everything has help up amazing well, which is awesome because my son can destroy things. Getting this for your kid, or if you're a coach and you get one for your team, those kids will go nuts with pride and joy. The look on my son's face when I gave him this was one of the happiest I've seen from him, and that alone makes me have to say I highly recommend this for youth players. ... show more

Very nice necklace for boys. I could wear it to support my son but he likes to wear it to school. He calls it swag. He lets me wear it for game days. I am allergic to a lot of things and this didn’t cause any type of reaction to my neck. It’s a good weight. Seems well made. I would recommend it.
