I bought these for my Aventon Aventure.2. I wanted pedals with a larger area for my foot. These look great, are very light, are offered at a great price, and grip your foot like glue. You do have to be careful not to cut your shins or calf, if you miss the pedal getting on or off. The spikes (as I call them) are VERY sharp and long. I would not use these with a soft sole shoe. I ride with a pair of Reeboks and you can definitely see where they are digging into the shoe. I consider this a GOOD thing as I have never slipped off using them in the rain, mud, and dry. So this is the second set of these I have bought. One set for my own bike a couple years ago and another set for my 8 year olds Specialized mtb. My set has held up pretty good good with moderate use and my kiddo just installed them on his today. Looking forward to his running this set. Will update if anything surprising pops up, otherwise it will be business as usual ... show more

These pedals are awesome. They come with spare pins and the quality is just as good as the Chester's but they cost half as much! The nylon is very strong but they still flex a little which I like. I love these pedals and definitely recommend them.

It works great. Spins well. If you popped out a couple pins you can put straps through the pedals. It will take some elbow grease but totally doable.
