It not the best tasting but it's palable. It's a healthy cereal and it is good for you. I add sweetener (agave) helps with the taste. It is a hard cereal so let the milk sit on it for a while to soften it up.

I have been eating this cereal along with the three other types from Ezekiel for about a year and feel so much better eating them without all the additives that go in regular cereal. I only eat cereal once or twice a week. I rotated with different breakfast items all equally healthy but I’m glad I can get my cereal in a healthy format, it is very good. Okay ... so, not the best flavor. I think I'd take Grape Nuts over these, flavor wise. And I'm not a fan of Grape Nuts. But, this is about the healthiest cereal on the market. Great ingredients and good for the body. I love cereal, but I think a lot of them on the market are toxic. The most nutritious cereal with lower sugar and higher protein. I also add additional nuts or seeds to add a bit more protein to keep me satiated longer. Box was placed in usps envelope (which crunched bigtime). Opened envelope box top was sealed sloppily with tape. Then made bowl of this cereal and tasted so bad, I tossed. Couldn't even read expiration date. Don't buy!!!!

After reading some of the negative reviews, I bought this cereal expecting it to taste like cardboard so I can experience what that tastes like and jump on that bandwagon warning others not to. I tend to self sabatoge myself. However, I really like this cereal. It doesn’t have the heavy sugary flavor of grape nuts. It’s actually as close to flavor free as you can get other than the real slices of almonds which is an amazing bonus. I tend to not add salt or sugar to anything so my taste buds are very sensitive and this passes the test. I like to soak them in unsweetened almond milk for a few minutes to get it soft because they’re rough and hard. Then it’s perfect and very filling. I was looking for a diabetic, friendly cereal. a friend of mine with diabetes is able to eat this without it spiking their blood sugar too much. I On the other hand can’t. it’s spike my blood sugar super high so this is not for me.
