  • Cascadian Farm Organic Honey Vanilla Crunch Cereal 10.5 oz 12 ct
Both USDA certified organic and non-GMO this gluten-free honey vanilla crunch cereal is light and satisfyingly crunchy. The cereal tastes good without being overly sweet and it avoids quickly becoming soggy in milk or milk substitute. Ingredients are whole grain corn meal, whole grain sorghum, cane sugar, dried sweet potato, chickpea flour, sunflower oil, honey, calcium carbonate, sea salt, molasses, natural flavor, vanilla extract and vitamin E to preserve freshness. The 10.5 ounce box translates into approximately 8 3/4 cups or seven 1 1/4 cup 170 calorie dry servings. Each serving has 1.5 grams fat, 36 grams carbohydrate, 3 grams fiber and protein and 9 grams sugar (all added). There is no cholesterol and sodium is low at 4 percent of daily value. To estimate shelf-life at the time of this review in May 2022 the Best if Used By date is 3 months in the future but dates will vary. Very good. ... show more

  • Past date and covered up.
Every single box had the "best by" date scratched out and then covered by a sticker. This is not acceptable. They could be 6 months past date as far as we know.

  • Lightly Sweet and Crunchy (5- Stars)
This Cascadian Farm Honey Vanilla Crunch cereal reminds me of the Cap'n' Crunch cereal of my childhood without nearly as much sugar. It has a similar crunchy texture that holds up well in milk. Because it is corn-based, it is gluten-free. I find that it tastes lightly sweet. Each 1 1/4 cup serving (larger than most cereals designate as a serving) contains 9 grams sugar, 3 grams fiber, 3 grams protein, amd 170 calories. The only caveat when buying this case of 12 boxes is the expiration date. Mine came with one only three months in the future, which makes this a lot of cereal to eat within that time period. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann ... show more

  • Good flavor and stays crunchy, but a little expensive.
I like the flavor and texture of this cereal. I mostly get the vanilla and a light sweetness, but not specifically honey. It does a good job staying crunchy in milk, which is important for me. It does that without scratching up the roof of your mouth, so it's a good balanced crunch. The price per box works out to being a little higher than I'd normally pay though. The boxes I received boast that they're helping restore 25 million square feet of farmland. That sounds like a lot, but the tiny text on the back confirms that it's only 600 acres, which is less than a single medium sized family farm. Considering it's the biggest text on the front of the box, it's a little bit of a shady claim. ... show more

  • Crisp, crunchy, tasty with a little sweetness
This is one of the best gluten-free cereals I have tried. Plus it is non-gmo and organic. The cereal is crisp, crunchy, and tasty. The vanilla and honey provide sweetness, but it is not overpowering. It holds up well in milk, but is also good dry as a snack. At the time of my order, the cost was five dollars per box. That is comparable to some of the better cereals at my local grocery store. The expiration date was through November, which would be five months. ... show more

  • Not Tasting Honey
Cascadian Farm Organic Honey Vanilla Crunch Cereal, Gluten Free, 10.5 oz (Pack of 12) I would categorize the flavor of this cereal as... interesting. I tasted it right from the box with no milk and it has a subtle, but distinct flavor that I can't really put my finger on. It's not honey, but it might be the vanilla coming through. Once I added milk it certainly enhanced the flavor to the point where I knew that it wasn't for me. It's got a decent crunch for cereal, but I just couldn't get past the unidentified flavor it was giving me. It might be your favorite though so I don't want to discourage anyone who likes what they see in the ingredient list to give it a shot. ... show more

  • Not overly sweet
This reminds me of cinnamon toast crunch in texture but a significantly less sweet version. You can clearly taste the vanilla, honey and sweet potato in the cereal. The chickpeas weren't really apparent to me, but the blend of flavors was a very good mix and complemented each other well. This cereal tastes delicious both in milk and just dry as a snack. It is slightly more expensive than supermarket bought cereal (about $7.25 per box) but the quality ingredients in this one is well worth the higher cost. However, one thing to note is that all 12 boxes expire in August 2022. Although I like eating cereal, there is no possible way I can finish 12 boxes in a 3.5 month span. Will definitely be sharing it with others but keep the expiration date part in mind when purchasing a big pack. Next time, I will buy individual boxes or smaller sets. ... show more

  • ascadian Farm Organic Honey Vanilla Crunch Cereal
This cereal is hard and crunchy, even in milk. It's kind of bland, too. The shapes are rectangles. Kind of boring. If you let them sit and soften they aren't too bad, but I won't order more. I'm not really impressed at all.
