I saw this recommended by a YouTuber who demonstrated its effectiveness on one of her videos. Her demonstration was for use on laundry. The price is great, so I thought I would give it a try. THIS STUFF WORKS! The day I got it I used it to treat a blood stain. It took the stain COMPLETELY OUT. I just sprayed it and rubbed it in, then washed it. It was a pretty fresh stain but it came right out. I tried it on an older blood stain and it wasn’t quite as effective but I think if it had been left to soak it would probably work better. So far on new stains it has been amazing though. It doesn’t smell bad and so far it hasn’t damaged any of the clothing/fabrics I have used it on. If it works this good on laundry, I imagine it works just as well on carpet and/or upholstery. I will buy it again and recommend to others. ... show more

Honestly I’d give this 4 1/2 stars if I could. It really is a great product and I’ve removed so many stains with it. The only reason I took off a star is that it does sometimes lighten the rug where you’ve sprayed it. So it really is only good for lighter colored items and you definitely want to spray a small piece until you know for sure what it’s going to do. ... show more

I’ve used this product for years now and it never ceases to impress me how well it works at removing stains. It’s nothing short of a miracle. No smell, no weird residue, no crazy procedures to follow. Just spray, then maybe a little scrub brush action followed by a little dabbing up with a dry cloth. That’s it! The stain is history! I can attest for my use case, this has been amazing. However, I haven't tested every type of stain under different conditions so keep that in mind. I've used this primarily for removing pen ink from pants and other clothing. If I'm not mistaken, some of the ink stains were well set in. Lo and behold, it actually worked! Literally spray generously, sit, and voila! Some required a respray or two but for someone who often gets ink on pants, this is great. I think I may have tested this on a grease stain that was well set in and it did NOT work, but wouldn't necessarily expect that. It has also worked decently cleaning up pet stains BUT NOT pet odors. I use enzyme/oxy cleaners for that. However, this seems like a pretty versatile product with stunning results. ... show more

I was amazed to see Folex work so well. I sprayed it on some (years old) coffee stains on a pale blue rug. I agitated the stain a little with a white cloth rag, and some of the stain transferred onto the cloth. I left it alone and an hour later, the carpet stain was completely gone! The only product that had worked this well on carpet stains before was the Stanley Steamer spot remover, which costs 4 or 5 times as much as the Folex.
