I purchased this table for its maximum height of 28.7 inches and its ease of assembly (just unfold legs and table). I use it for my television. It is sturdy for that purpose. I don't know how well it would function for picnics. My one complaint is that it was a bit too expensive.

I had to carry and set up aa table for 8 consecutive days at a political event. I own another table which is large and heavy. Very awkward to load and unload from my vehicle BUT this table is perfect! Small, lightweight, compact and easily managed into and out of a vehicle.
